Whats Your Favorite Car In GTA V and why?

Recommended Posts

Luna 51

Banshee, i dunno it looks nice and it's classic blue and white paint is good too.

Its a good car for stunt jumps, that is why I own one.

My favorite will have to be the Obey 9F (Carbio version) in white. and the Truffade Z-Type in black.

Carbonizzare - Perhaps the only car in the game, that looks as if it's convertible roof is a hardtop, and I love it's beige seats and engine sound. ( Edit: Well, the Cognoscenti Cabrio has one too, but the proportionality between the front and it's high and big rear are utterly disappointing. )

Coquette - Pretty good stats , reasonable price.

Super Diamond - Looks extremely prestigious, has also a beige set of seats.

Voltic - Quite fast, with a diminutive engine sound, so you can listen to the radio peacefully.

Granger - Probably the longest SUV, and has these unique side - roof bars so it can transport even more than 4 people.

You know, I do have some favorites, but I have no idea what they're called. When I'm playing, my brain just doesn't work that way (ie, putting a vehicle name to an actual vehicle). I see something I like, I get in it. I have customized vehicles in my garages and I still don't know what they are by name.

It's currently a toss-up between the BF Surfer and the Hotknife.

Sports and supers are cool and all, but I prefer the old-school look. Plus, the Hotknife is super fun to drive once you figure it out.

The Gallivanter Baller probably, one of the best modelized cars in the game. Land Rover has always been one of the best offroad/SUV makes, especially the Range Rover Evoque is pretty sweet.

Pretty much all of this. :^:

Carbonizzare

0_0.jpg

I got back into the Carbonizzare about a month ago and was pleasantly impressed. It's fast, it's elegant, and it corners like a dream. Seriously. The handling is perfect, there is so much steering feedback and it still goes wherever you point it. No other super/sports car can compare as most lack steering feel to begin with. What I love about it most, however, is how docile it is. You could drive it like an Asterope and still thoroughly enjoy it. Never does it feel choppy whenever you're casually cruising it down a boulevard or up a narrow winding bend. The interior is absolutely perfect, I love how they didn't go black, they went beige. It fits Rosso Scuderia (red) and Azzurro California (blue) perfectly. The hard top is the cherry on top, this car transforms when you put the top down and feels even more refined. Perfect grand tourer. This is the best super/sports in the game.

Coquette

0_0.jpg

I would call it a poor man's Carbonizzare but it is a car of it's own. It's a budget grand tourer, it's a budget super car without making you feel or look like you're on a budget at all. Design wise, they couldn't have done any better. Yes I'd like a fully tan interior instead of a half tan/black one and yes I'd like a transparent targa top as well. Who cares? God it's perfect. It looks so brutish and refined. It sounds so mean and there is so much steering feel you'd think it was straight outta GTA IV, minus the goofy body roll and spongy suspension. Like the Carbonizzare, it's an excellent grand tourer. It can be so fast and quick around the corners yet so docile on the streets. It's so good that I have two. One of them is the above and the other one is silver with chrome wheels and without the targa top. I'd love a full convertible but the targa will do.

Voltic

0_0.jpg

Probably one of the funnest fastest cars in the game. First of all, I love how silent yet deadly it is. The get up is so quick and all you'll get is a subtle whine in return. Because there are no gears, there is absolutely no lag at all. No sluggish downshifts before you slam on the gas, no choppy launches. It just goes! It makes even the Carbonizzare's lightning quick DCT feel archaic. I got mine with the aero-front fascia, the carbon fiber targa top, and the carbon fiber wing. It's perfect. Even the interior fits. I love the interior, how simple and refined it is and how the gauges shine at night. I just started driving this car a few weeks ago and boy have I missed out. It's an excellent car and perfect if you want to cruise around in silence.

I have a feeling this list will grow next Wednesday. I just know the Windsor is going to be an excellent car. If it is, I'll come back with a mini-review.

Good list. I'd like the Zion if it was faster and actually fun to drive though. It's a good poser, it's beautifully designed. But that's pretty much it.

Probably the Monroe.

WVVDHAkHaEe25RT75bsjRA_0_0.jpg

I have a lot of cars that I like just as much as the Monroe, but I find myself using it the most.

Sure, the Stinger is damn fine, the Casco is absolutely beautiful, and the rest of my collection holds dear places in each part of my heart.

But for the longest possible time, the Lamborghini Miura has been my all-time favorite car for a number of reasons.

And the Monroe has just enough Miura in it to deserve my love.

Surano

(Honda s2000)

-Keep the Brakes On Stock brakes

-SUV or Tuner Tires

-Sport Suspension

-Tune Everything to the max turbo etc...

Car handles like a beauty. The handling and acceleration it has is amazing.

Ive survived bounties, with fighter-jets, Buzzards, and zentornos chasing me .... in this car.

It drifts enough to help you in sticky situations (speaking from experience lmao)

Pretty sure the Benefactor Surano is Jaguar F-Type V8 S Roadster based with subtle Mercedes SLS Roadster and Maserati GranCabrio Sport influence. Just saying.

And to each their own but I personally had a very bad driving experience with that car. Taking it for a spirited drive was very mundane. I felt no connection to the road whatsoever, there was absolutely no steering feel, not to mention it didn't have a very exciting exhaust note nor did it accelerate as fast as a fellow competitor *coughcarbonizzarecough*. But I guess seeing it as an Honda S2000 would make it's highly inexcusable, to me, flaws and missed opportunities less severe, no? Still honestly one of the worst cars I've driven, closely followed by the Cognoscenti Cabrio and Feltzer. Styling wise it disappointed me but if it would've handled more like the Carbonizzare and sounded more like the F620, I think I would've had a bit of a soft spot for it. Such a shame.

The Dewbauchee Massacro

My new favorite car, especially like its clean meaty look, even without the race after market items.

In Matte Carbon Black (i think, 2nd opt)

Cf Lip spliter (first option)

Cf skirts

Cf rear diffuser

Stock Fenders (not vented opt.)

Stock Hood

Low level Spoiler (non cf) looks good w/o too imo

Race Rollcage (Only cause of the roof intake that it adds)

Carbon Solar rims w Red Accent paint

Aftermarket Tires (the red and white writing on them make the red accent lines on rims pop)

It suddenly got really cloudy in game just as I was finding a location to take a picture... so this picture doesn't do the paint job justice.

This, because of the way it looks, the cockpit view, and the way it drives.

I find myself liking the Rapid GT Roadster more. I don't know, something about a drop top Aston is unbeatable.

Lampadati Felon because I drive a Jaguar XF irl :/ and I know technically Lampadati is Maserati but other than the curve over the back rear tires (which are clearly from the Quatroporte) the rest of the Felon (especially the front fascia and rear lights) are almost 1:1 with an XF....

and the first time I saw the Felon I basically went nuts because you almost never ever ever see cars like that in video games

so the Felon is really 'the' car I associate with my GTA V experience because I basically drove it 24/7 the first 1-2 months after the game released and I made it look like my own personal car (stock but the pure white paint and the upgraded oval exhaust... no kits because then it looks like an XF-R and I like the stock XF more)...

but my #1 most driven car is the Enus Super Diamond... I'm usually not a huge Rolls fan but someone the very first time I played as Trevor... literally the very first night on PS3, a Enus Super Diamond spawned near the Yellowjack Inn... I don't know how exactly because they never spawn there naturally. I think it was one of those things where the 'car spawn pool' can linger from the previous area... (e.g. if you're playing as Franklin in LS and Audi R8s/Obey... 9F or whatever are spawning in LS, and you switch to Trevor in SS, one or two R8s may spawn in SS because they are still 'lingering' in the 'spawn pool'). So, I think because before the Mr. Philips mission, you're playing as Franklin and then you go directly into a mission, so I think for some reason a Enus Super Diamond was still 'lingering' in the 'car spawn pool' after Mr. Philips... and one spawned as I finished Mr. Philips and I drove to the Yellowjack Inn for Trevor Philips Industries.

So, I stole the Enus Super Diamond as Trevor and used it to limo Cheng over to the meth lab, and it just seemed like 'perfect luck' or coincidence that Trevor got a Enus Super Diamond to for that mission...

ever since, I've always always used a Enus Super Diamond as my main car for Trevor and as CEO of TPI.... it just became part of 'my' story :p

so....tl;dr... Felon is my personal favorite car to see in GTA V and the one I enjoy driving the most... but the Super Diamond is basically the car that coincidentally became my main car for Trevor (who is like 65% of all my playtime)

big fan of the Dubsta, too... I like how the wheels camber so much when you're airborne  feels like Rockstar artist was making fun as gwagens cuz the wheels camber so much compared to the Baller

favorite super car is the Vacca... probably the best art 'model' in the game

Corquette and Vapid Saddler are very well done, too. I drive a Saddler a LOT... use it as my getaway vehicle in EVERY single playthrough and mission (except the first playthrough for Blitz Play which I used a Granger)

Dewbachees = by far best sounding cars (not saying much because GTA V has sh*tty sound effects for guns/car)

but overall look and control, and for personal reasons cuz it looks like an XF, definitely the Felon :D

btw sorry for long post haha :D

but i put a lot of thought into the cars I keep... every single car I have in my garage for all 3 characters was planned out to fit their personality, and most of them have a story... e.g. Michael buying a new car after Jimmy stole the Tailgater... Franklin buying a luxury car to celebrate some bling after the first heist... Trevor keeping all his cars as 'trophies' from missions (e.g. the Madrazo Baller, the Ortega Dubsta, the Cheng Corquette, the FIB Saddler, a Lost Daemon)

Micheal keeps a classic Tornado in his garage, but right now my favourite car has to be the Stirling GT I brought for Franklin. I love the growl of its engine, the gullwing doors (with special animation. so suck it Osiris :colgate: ) amd , 'cause I'm weird, the spare tire that looks so silly but looks sooo right; to me it does at least.

If it HAS to be a car, it's the sultan i suppose. Perfect for a little off road rally. Otherwise it's gotta be that Dinka Enduro. I used to own one half off it's amalgamation, the Yamaha IT. it really does handle in game like a squirrely old dirt bike.

It was the first car I bought for Michael too. After hopping in Dave's Oracle II, I fell in love with it. Got rid of it a few months back to save space because I stopped driving it. I should really try it out again because it is based on one of my favorite modern BMWs, the 640i (judging from the exhaust note and performance) Gran Coupe.

The Rapid GT.

I'm driving one right now and the exhaust note is ear porn. The Carbonizzare still remains one of my favorite sports cars in the game but it's exhaust note does get old after a while, that exhaust drone eventually drives you crazy after a while of cruising, but you never get tired of the Rapid GT's exhaust. It also handles remarkably well. Rockstar did a good job on that car and it surprises me how I've ignored it for this long.

Sometimes I forget the Sabre Turbo even exists. I haven't seen one spawn in over 6 months. It's so rare and I always forget about it whenever I'm messing with save editor.
