Make Over $2 Billion Per Character - Easy (Mild Spoilers)

I wouldn't bother with Vangelico unless it drops below 50$. It seems pretty unreliable, only dropped to 119$ for me and only raised to 120$ after many missions and sleep/death hrs. and I'm now to the first Lester assassination so gave up on it and sold for 9k total. Also you can't go all in right away since that is when they introduce Trevor and you don't get your payout from the jewelry heist until after his intro missions. The other tips are good though, I didn't invest in Redwood first time around and that seems like where the $'s at, tks for this.

@Selwood make sure you invest before you start the Lester missions except during the bus assassination, it does make a difference I only got around 50% first time using sleep hours and investing afterwards, reloaded and invested before and did some freeroam instead and it went to 81%

Edit: You also say to invest in Bilkinton after BettaPharms? I thought Bilkintons rival was DollarPillz, should we invest in both? Reason I ask is Bawsaq is seperate from LCN right? Do changes in Bawsaq effect LCN stock?

Not sure about the DollarPillz but I know for a fact Bilkinton is what crashes after the mission and goes back up so I'm assuming that Betta is it's rival. I have no idea how the BAWSAQ works honestly or how it changes. I don't understand why storyline missions are altering stocks outside of LCN. Seems jacked to me.

so i just did the 2nd & 3rd assassinations one after the other and made $200 million profit by selling DEB at 80%, buying Fruit, do the mission & sell it, put that money into Redwood before 2 days in game time, sell at 300% recover, buy Facade and sell when it recovers between 2-3 days from the end of the 3rd mission which should be like a day after Redwood rebounds

i still have 2 more assassination missions left and i already have enough for the golf course on all 3 characters

point being if you save the Lester missions to the end & time the stocks right you can still make bank without restarting

How do you guys keep track of the in game time? Im finding that really hard.

Are you just checking stocks every 5 mins?

How do you know when your stocks have peaked?

I didn't look at the in game clock (it believe it's on your pause screen) so I'm not sure of the actual times--- saving (in a bed) advances game time by 6 hours-- but if like other GTAS-- 1 real minute = 1 game hour.

I simply kept opening phone browser, checking return, exiting, repeat (doing other things and re-checking every few mins)--- watched betta stock go up steadily doing this-- I was told that saving (bed saving) on the betta stock 3 times will get you up to near the maximum return (80%)-- I sold as soon as it cracked 80% return the 2nd time through-- the first time I waited too long and missed it (had to go back to the save before the mission).

What you might want to do while watching a stock is to keep checking and quick saving on your phone and then when it drops off-- reload your previous (so you don't miss peak).

I redid the 1st assasination and it peaked at 82% both times I did it (investing prior to mission) and then investing Franklins Payout when he receives it for that mission--it was only $9000 if I remember correctly.

I'm still playing story and am saving the other assassination missions til later.

when you open your phone it tells you what day it is at the top. saving via the bed advances time by 6 hours so a few saves and you're into a new day.

you don't wanna watch it, like just leave the stock screen open because it won't change like that and it's boring. just mess around a bit and save a few time or get sent to the hospital a few times and check the price between

I should have read this before doing the assassination missions... Another thing that kept me from making money was that bawsaq was always down for me. Is there always a maintenance period or was that the server issues of R*'s Social Club?

I have a question regarding the Vangelico heist: do I invest my money from both characters into VAG before I get the heist's pay or after I've receive the pay?

After definitely. The key here is to buy low and wait for it to recover. If you buy beforehand it will crash and while it does go back up it won't go up 100% to what it used to be.

Just to be sure I haven't messed up. I don't think I formulated my question correctly and I don't want to start all over again, (dumb enough to not have used different save games at different points in the game before the Vangelico heist) I know I have to invest in VAG after the heist, but do I invest into the company after Lester gives each character their share or do I invest before the payout?

I've invested roughly $100K into VAG as Franklin and $10K as Michael. I'm wondering if I've followed the first step correctly, seeing Lester's payout for the first heist takes a while. I've put my continuation of the story on hold for a while because my only uncertainty is the first step.

Like others have said. Investing in VAG is almost useless unlees it drops below $50 a share. I bought it at the lowest I saw which was $65 a share and it only went up 2.15%. I could not go any further in the ame until I did the first Lester mission so I dumped it and moved on.

I finished the game playing it my own way without much hints or tips. But I'm gonna start over and follow these tips to see what sort of money I can make.

Just wanted to say that by following this guide, even though neither FlyUS nor Vangellico recovered, I still ended up with 2.1 bn dollars. And in another save in which they failed to recover, and Redwood didn't go up 300%, I still ended up with 1 bn dollars roughly. So this is a great guide even if some elements appear to be random. Even just putting off the Lester missions and doing nothing else will net huge sums.

And this was with only 50 to 100 K per character by the first heist, and Betta maxing out at only about 50%. My characters own every property now including the golf course, which is hugely satisfying because I'm a completionist in games like this and couldn't stand not affording it before lol.

Glad to hear it worked out! Vangellico seems to be the most stubborn. Odd that FlyUS never recovered though.

Well the real problem was that it never crashed to begin with (unlike VAG which did at least decline... though by game's end it still hadn't recovered.) I am working with the theory that every game has a random seed that impacts some of these working. Would also account for why sometimes stocks don't reach the maximums others describe before falling again. Some of it does seem awfully arbitrary, too. In the games I played where Redwood never recovered, it stayed low for the rest of the game, whereas when it did increase it always went to 300% or 299% like clockwork after dying enough times, as if preordained.

I can only speculate that all of this is their way of programming some aspect of randomness into it all so it won't feel quite that transparent (even though it kind of is lol.) Still a cool mechanic though.

Wow dude, thanks a lot man. I got all 3 of my characters over 2 billion by just doing the Lester Assassination missions after the story. This thread was extremely useful and helpful, much appreciated bro.

LMAO

I came here to brag about making 2 billion and teach how I did it only to find a guide was already made.

I had a few differences

#3 & #8 I used Taliana, Karim, Packie & Daryl and earned $38,304,000

#4 Didn't do that. Didn't even think of it.

#10 Have not found this guy, so I can make more

Trev has 1.6 bill

Frank has 1.8 bill

Mike has 2.1 bill

I think there's a biker in Sandy Shores that if you take him to the bike shop where there are some other bikers of The Lost MC, he calls you later telling you that he owns AnimalArk and that he's gonna net you 100,000$ in the Stocks for AnimalArk. Should I go all in on AnimalArk before this mission?

7. After you do the final heist...go all in with your characters on the Augury Insurance stock company. Once you do the main end mission after the heist the stock will soar and you will make bank (you will see this increase after the credits roll and you go back to your characters).

At that point I don't have the money of the last heist, right?

Nice guide! Wish I would've known even half of this from the get go. Now im hitting the stock market to try and make bank.

Just thought I would note that I ended up pulling over 34 mil on the final hiest using the stealth method. I used to two contacts that I gained from the random encounters (packie and some female driver whose name eludes me). Both of them do a great job for a small cut. I went with the best hacker (the female). The other two used were just fill ins (not highly rated but only wanted a small cut).

Thanks for the great guide. I have a question though. I have been following it and I sold Debonaire when it capped out (at about 80% it wouldn't go any higher) and then I bought Redwood and my Redwood isn't moving at all. It went up to 1% but now I'm actually losing money in it. How long does it take to recover? I have saved many times to try to pass time and it didn't help me. Thanks.
