johnsmith80
Ive been reading about installing the play disc to a seperate usb because my 360 sounds like a tractor when im playing. Im using a 32gb flash drive that has passed the 360 minimum requirments and been formated. I can install the game to the drive no problem but when i try and play it i just get a pop up window saying ''Error game can not play please download again'' I dont understand the problem the usb works, its formated ok, its big enough and the disc is still in the drive. If i pull the usb out it works fine but installed on the usb i keep getting the error. I cant find anyone else getting this problem so just though id ask on here if anyone can help. gee tee eh? foyve
I hope you get it to work because yesterday I put the play disc on a fast usb 3 ready card reader and the game ran better and looked better because the textures loaded faster. Also loads slightly faster. Buford T Justice
Maybe the 32GB drive is the issue, I have it on a 16GB drive (Xbox won't let you use more than 16GB on an external drive, even if the drive is larger than 16GB) and it work just fine. johnsmith80
I was thinking that maybe its to big but it does say on the microsoft website 32gb is the max. I have tried going to usb options and only formatting half of it so it only using 16gb but no luck. Suppose il have to buy a smaller one and hope its not a waste of money Edited September 25, 2013 by johnsmith80 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/603014-gta-5-on-xbox-360-usb/#findComment-1063465184 Share on other sites
