How do we avoid annoying kids online?

Recommended Posts

John Smith

Let's face it, there's going to be a huge influx of screaming, squeaky-voiced children on GTA Online. Most of them will probably be 'Call of Dooty' brats, curious with this big new game called GTA V.

My question is, how do we avoid them online? I really don't want to resort to having to start my own parties, as I'm looking foward to meeting new people to pull off heists with, and other such activities.

Any suggestions or advice? Cheers.

You can't. Hence why im an advocate for GTA single player.

GTA online is the worst thing to happen to GTA.

You say this without playing it? That proves you're an ignorant person.

@OP: I tend to mute the irritating little bastards.

I'm not worried. Little kids probably could stomach GTA VI's claustrophopic cities for a bit of a break from CoD. They won't have the attention span to appreciate or enjoy the variety that GTAO will offer.

But more seriously, I don't anticipate there will be many kiddies. For one thing parents know full well about the GTA series, and won't let it slide as easily as they do CoD and company. Though it would be interesting if GTAO was given an AO rating instead of M. GameInformer said that yelling into the microphone will expedite heists...I hope that's untrue.

Tell them to bite the curb. On the game, at least.

We, smart fellas, should play together against each other to avoid these kids online. It's the only hope left.

You will probably be able to mute / block undesired players.

Simply muting them doesn't necessarily cure the problem, as it's also their derping behaviour that annoys the f*ck out of me. There's only so long I can stomach some kid honking his horn at me every f*cking second to get in his car - or trying to get in my car - before I want to put my fist through the screen.

Well I have V for my PS3 and Xbox, and from past experience with IV + Episodes, PSN had MUCH less kids and hackers on it than Xbox Live. I'm guessing children are non-existent on PC?

Make a thread on here inviting like minded players to play together. Luckily I got enough people in real life to create a game with so we dont have to deal with nuisances of all ages.

1. Don't play online.

2. If you really want to play online invite only people you know and play with them.
