Towmuch_INC Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Hello fellow GTAforum members, i found this guy once, finished the mission, but loaded an older save because i had less money at the time, now ive got more money to invest in Tinkle but, cant find the rich businessman at the Ineseno Road (Banham Canyon) Maybe he spawns somewhere else ? Maybe the game remembered that i completed the mission and he will NEVER spawn again ? (i preloaded an older save right after the mission) Hitch Lift 1 Characters Required: Michael/Franklin/Trevor The first hitchhiker is an important character because after you help him, you can make some money. His location is on Ineseno Road in the Banham Canyon. Locate a car with its hood raised and talk to the driver. The businessman has to reach the airport as soon as possible and he will ask for your help. Try to get to the marked location on your map, in less than 2:20 minutes and the hitchhiker will give you a tip regarding the Tinkle Company. On your phone, access Bawsaq and invest some money in Tinkle, the moment you complete the mission. Additionally, you will get $100, and the driving skill increases by 5 points. I am desperately struggling to make any money now that I have completed the game and all of my attempts to affect the LCN for personal gain are failing. it wouldn't be so bad but I am earning money from literally nowhere and so it will run out eventually. I hope this man spawns more than once... Hey Slippytoe, i think that this is only once... You should use the Lester missions to at LEAST tripple your 30 Million from the last Heist. theshadowfax Posted September 26, 2013 Share Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) I think I passed him in the middle of doing one of my missions that required driving in that area but I didn't stop or even stay in the area for more than a few seconds. Does anyone know if he respawns if you don't speak to him? It'd really, REALLY cruddy if I missed out on getting to invest my ~500 million on a stock that goes up in value like this especially when that mission was quite a ways back. I would go check for myself but part of me is paranoid that going back will somehow activate him and then I'll for sure have missed it. And there is no specified time, it changes per gameplay, one time it's in the morning another time at night. Had some same random events at different times of the day. AGNT009 Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 I had this one saved, as I deliberately didnt go after this guy till the end. i had 1 assassination mission left. I took all final heist money and did Goldcoast investment, then went looking for this guy. I was monitoring stock. At one point it was 20% increase, I saved to see if it went higher. at one point it was 50%. I quicksaved again. But it never went higher and refell to 20. I went back to the first save expecting it to jump to 50% again and it never did! Tried over and over! Saving didnt help, so I finally sold at 20%. Kicking myself I didnt jump at the lottery 50% when I saw it. Only have a measly 105 million with Michael and Franklin now. If you see 50% Increase on Tinkle JUMP IT FAST! Rogue_Se7en Posted August 31, 2020 Share Posted August 31, 2020 Just in case anyone in 2020 checks this YES This random event spawned around midnight to 1 am and after I had played to 50% of the game and in 3 player mode. Lucky me by this time Michael had over $10M which I had made in playing stock market so Im on for a huge profit. Cant say if it repeats but I CAN SAY 100% that I have repeated Hitch lift 2 & 3 with both Trevor first ( replayed the Jewelry Heist to get a better payout) then got Michael and Franklin to activate the other hitch lifts later. Also hitch lifts has registered on Rockstar 100% completion website , then vanished and I have had to do them again , and you can. The only R Event not re spawning is Simeon because at 3 player mode as it's too late in the storyline to occur. Also Security Vans not re spawning yet, so make sure you do these early if you want all R Events. hope this helps someone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
