I'm on my 2nd play-through in order to get 100% and gets all gold medal. After I finished Michael's "Grass Roots" mission (the mission where Michael fight aliens and met the person who trying to legalizing weed) I notice one of the requirements to receive gold medal that called "Unmarked" which remind me of the [ X ] on the Mt. Chilliad.

avpa.jpg

[ X ] = Marked, Got it?

So, I'm thinking may be the "[ X ]" mean to get gold medal on this kind of requirement. May be there're others "Unmarked" missions or other requirements' name related to eggs? And after all marks are unlock something might happen at the top of mountain Chilliad?

PS. Sorry for my English though. Im from Thailand. :)

it's just completing the mission with "minimal damage to health and armor" mate, sorry.

I have that checked off actually. Unmarked Im pretty sure just means you can't take any damage. It didn't seem to affect anything with the mural or the progress to uncovering any additional clues though.

Unmarked is the name of the challenge.

Minimal damage = You are unmarked

While searching through the game files, I found a very interesting file containing data that seems to relate to an extra mission. Triggered events cause the mission to initiate, and it has information that would only point toward the mission involving the UFO. I will take a screen shot of this and post it. This is amazing, what a break through, lol only 5 days later after searching and searching.

If that's true, now that's something. Or is it the extra Bigfoot mission?

Does anyone else think these '8' riddles may relate to how many GTA's they are planning :)

5's alive... 6 is nix (nix = nothing = not even in development yet?)

My bad, but I didn't mean to be a jackass about it and the line about the texture wasn't directed at you. Rather, to those who just plain dismissed it without giving it a chance because "it couldn't be there", while a stupid texture or something is "OMG THIS IS BIG". ;)

It's ok i guess since I get a winky face. Anyway you never know where something might take you that's what we hope for at least. Thanks from your answer though.

Its not BIGFOOT, has nothing to do with BIGFOOT, its has information in the file that directly related to Chiliad, and UFO. Let me get together the information and screen shot so I can post it. I dont want everyone freaking out on me about it, let me show, so it confirms what I am saying, its undeniable.... its not bigfoot trust me.

I've gone to each location and noticed the map someone posted earlier was slightly off, here's my edited version:

I also went and mapped each glyph on the in game map:

The one with the purple marker over it is the missing one.

Theory: Collecting Submarine parts.

It's strange for such a long and tedious collection mission, you get $10 and the satisfaction of murdering a very odd woman.

There's 5 boxes with x's on the mural, and 5 locations that contain submarine parts. Frank Mathers is mentioned on the UV map, as well as the directions to the dock with the note of bringing $500,000.

Locations with sub parts:
2 on top of the map.
1 on the right of the map.
1 on the bottom right of the map.
1 on the left of the map.

This also doesn't count towards the 100% and isn't included on the save file (PS3 save has 10 found, missing the other 20 on the top-right/right/bottom/right)

Abigail acts very oddly, with strange mannerisms and clearly doesn't know the value of time. She's probably a f*ckin' lizard person.

Now to my half-assed mural overlay:

m2a1ufs.jpg

I didn't line it up perfectly, nor does it completely fit, but atleast I'm not posting stupid ass SSTV troll images.

Things to note:
Top left X lines up with the cave area, top right with sandy shores
The "maze" or entrance lines go around Fort Z fairly well, perhaps as a reference point for lining it up? Perhaps the HD map is the wrong one to use, and perhaps I should try the ingame map instead.
The Egg could be another simple reference point, leading towards the whole Maze Bank fountain, which we all have to admit, looks like a cracked egg at the right time of day with the right angle.
The Jetpack Box also surrounds an area with a submerged freighter carrying a lot of weapons, as well as the N.O.O.S.E. HQ.

What you should be getting from this isn't exact points, but areas we should be searching.

I have no idea what the other points could be referencing, but as of right now, we're all sitting with our thumbs up our asses until someone makes a breakthrough.

On a serious note... that cottage in sandy shores has the SAME diagram of the islands on it.

Exactly! There is something there!

Riddles won't determine how many GTA's there'll be, business will.

Thank you for this. I was in the process of doing the same thing because I had a funny suspicion that it might be off. (assuming that you are referring to the easterbunny overlay)

If that overlay was to be believed that it might not be in that location. It's a fairly easy location to access and unless this one is super tiny and buried under a rock I don't think its there.

What if we have to complete every missions in gold medal ? ...

I was just thinking this exact same thing. Maybe it garners a reward. Could be annihilator or jetpack, and either could be required to complete the mystery. It could be saying you have to unlock the UFO's by scoring 100%, and then the jetpack by getting all gold medals before you can access the true secret easter egg, which could be a flyable UFO.

The thing is it dosent actually line up! The top 2 should be in line with each other and the rest are just out as well.

If this is correct 5how couldn't you use the same scale to work out where the "tunnels" meet the surface?
