I guess you are just going to have to 100% the game yourself and spend the time looking for the spots. Try the spot where the French guys is. That's so much easier to find.

 

True not every thing is a mystery, not once it is solved anyway. BTW swearing isn't the best way to get your point accross.

Sorry, you're right. I was coming off as un-neededly hostile there. My bad. Also he's not 100% I don't think so at least. The french guy didn't make the original video that he's getting the code from, he's using the video that Cmarst or whatever posted.

 

I think it was in the jetpack thread, where this was being talked about as well. I found the location where he was at.. Let me get that, see if you can find anything there. ARe you 100%? Do you think that even has anything to do with it?

All good man. Swearing doesn't really bother me, it's just counter productive. I've lived in and seen stuff in several countries that make swearing quite insignificant in the big picture. Lucky I now live in New Zealand. A country with the 2nd least corruption level in the world. Finland only is less corrupt. Here people are a lot more trusting than any other country I've lived in.

 

I'm only 22%, I play Gran Turismo mostly. No idea what you have to be 100% to find though a lot of posts seem to indicate that 100% opens new stuff up.

 

The pics in the thread you link to look like a HUD from a jet. No idea how/if it relates to a jetpack. Haven't read the thread, I'm new here so just catching up on the content here.

Hey guys.

 

This myth might have already been solved and dismissed?

 

Earlier some people were asking for a location. I might have a starting point for you now. I have flown over twice now from different directions and the planes engines just dies when reaching this point. Have not tried with boats.

 

The point of interest is where the engines died when i came from land and the orange spot is where the engines died just now coming from SW.

I did not get a chance to find it last night. I kept getting a call from Franklin and I ignored it for some time but got tired of it so I decided to answer it. I had no idea it would force me into a mission. After that point I decided to wait until I get 100%. I am getting pretty close.

I will look more into it this weekend when i have more time.

Even if this is fake, I want to go out in those kind of locations anyway since I like to explore things underwater.

i have two pictures, one of the map with a waypoint where to find the door with the lights and another with the actual door itself but it says "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." someone please help, i'm new.

If someone can extract the audio file, convert it to an image ( like .jpg or .png ) it might show and image or message. Trust me, there's something like this in Portal 2. I can't do this myself, someone else try please?

there's a door/platform with four white lights surrounding it on the bottom of the ocean. it kills you if you dive and it crushes your sub after about a minute. and I'm not at 100% completion

It's fake people.

I dismissed this the first time I listened to the audio. The audio from the boat sounds real tinny. As it should be being recorded on another source other than directly. The supposed sound of the number station is overlayed. How do i know? Years of dj'ing and sound editing and my own ears tell me its far too bassy to be from the source. Its overlay audio. Anyone that works with audio will tell you exactly the same thing. Its impossible they are the same source.

I checked the hatch with invincibility and the cheat deactivates once your in the vicinity of it

Seriously, read the thread before you reply. Several pages ago, it has already been confirmed that the 'morse code' isn't morse code, but SSTV signals. The images have already been decoded. The other part of the transmission are several string of letters and numbers, which has not been decoded yet.

 

The main issue with this "easter egg'' is that it seems fake, because no one else than the OP and some other guy have posted a video of it. Nobody else has been able to recreate the event, including me. Also in the videos it sounds very much like the audio has been added, either by using a cell phone, or by adding it on a computer or something.

The supposed pin point dot in the middle of the ocean near a killzone, looking for a SSTV signal that is probably fake [as in not ingame] using images that are going to throw a frenzy into the easter egg search.. Yeah, I don't have any faith in it. When I hear it for myself or see something better than shakey phone video with speaker disruption and audio issues, yeah I'll start to believe a little better. Not everything is a f*cking mystery, nor is it meant to be.

 

Agreed, where is the HD video that showcases on the map where this spot is. It sounds really cool but I am highly skpetical, mostly because I am a cynic!

Very sorry man, didn't have time at the moment to check what SSTV signals where. You have a good point, we should read the previous posts, so I did, but so did I posted a question that apparently had an answer.
