Beat the game without cheats and still not using cheats, theirs no point considering I have over 30,000,000 on all my characters and can buy almost anything and the current cheats suck.

Yes trophies will still be disabled when you turn on cheats even after you have beaten the story. Wish someone would just mod their controller to do all the button combinations so we can figure out every cheat in the game already.

considering how cheap the guns are and how there really isnt a health/invincibility cheat and how there are plenty of cars all over (who wants to always be driving the comet? get a forklift son), I dont see a point in using cheats.

Played through it twice with normal settings on. Out of all the GTA's I've played, (every GTA bar the very first one) I found this one probably the least challenging. Granted, the AI are smarter in this game and if you get caught out up close you're dead before you know it, but at range when you can just pop in/out and with blindfire being so accurate, gun fights are quite easy.

 

However, maybe it's not so much the AI which make the game not so challenging for me, perhaps it's the fact I can retry every mission from a checkpoint. Although, in previous titles it can be so annoying having to do that long drive listening to the same dialogue again, but the retry function made the game a piece of cake.

Yep, cheatless. Not too hard but I'm taking it slow and having fun as i do it. Still not 100% completion. Having too much fun taking on Helicopters in a fighter jet.

Using cheats to dick around is one thing but using cheats to complete the core of the game is just a waste of 60 dollars. Takes the thrill, oh sh*t, and suspense out of a game. Feeling like nothing is a risk because cheats got you covered is just lame and boring.

 

If missions are too hard maybe try going to the shooting range. The targets can't attack you. Although the leaderboard shooting statistics might be enough to scare some away from that activity.
