Are you beating V cheat-less?

Forgive me if there has been such a topic but I couldn't find any..

 

Anyways, I was curious to see how you guys go about beating the game. Personally, I have always used cheats, idk, I'm just really impatient and I want everything rite away. But for some reason I am doing it cheat-less for V...first time I will be beating a GTA game without cheats...it's been much better lol makes me explore more

Have used cheats in the previous games but V is just so insanely easy (tons of weapons/ammo for free from missions, regenerating health, cops easy to get away from even with 3 stars, etc) that I haven't felt the need to use them yet.

I always beat them with out cheats. Then start a new game using cheats from the start lol

I used time to time the no wanted cheat in free roam, but only when I accidently shoot someone or things like that, I never had more than 3 Wanted levels.

 

But when I beat the Story I really want the invincible cheat and the never wanted cheat to do crazy stuff in free roam.

On PS3 is there a trophy that cant be gained if you cheated? I want to play around with cheats but dont want to ruin my save game.

agreed. cheating takes all the fun out of it for me. If there is no challenge there is no point.

Yeah I bet the Story without any Cheats. Now I'm just messing around with them to see what they are like, not saving the game though.

I did it with no cheats and free aim, in my first shootout i failed like 5 times, but after that the only thing that has been able to kill me with guns is 5 stars armies

I use to cheat all the time on the III era games, but for IV and V I've played without cheats. I enjoy playing legitimately. Some of these cheats take the fun away. Now if V had a peds riot and peds have weapons cheat I would definitely use those.

Playing through first time with no cheats, free aim and complex reticle, just for the challenge. Boy, those first few shootouts take their toll as you get used to it, but afterward it's kinda simple to aim the screen in cover and pop out for those quick shots. Later on once I'm finished I might mess around with cheats, but it'll always be on a separate save file and be mostly for just dicking around and having fun doing whatever I want.

 

God bless those days in GTAIII when I start the game, spawn a tank and turn on low gravity, and just fly around the islands with the turret facing back. Wanted level? Helicopters and nothing else for air combat? Hah, I have a turret and I'm a flying fortress. I hope to have that kind of fun in GTAV eventually, but I always try for game completion at the hardest difficulty/settings first. To me it makes the game more enjoyable, though there are some frustrating moments.

I beat the story without cheats, but when I get bored, I save, turn on some cheats, and have some fun. Then I reload my save when I want to play the story.

I beat the story without using a single cheat.

i did skip one portion of the last heist mission because i failed too many times and was getting frustrated with it. then i got into the driving portion and beat that in one try, lol.

I want the achievements so no cheats for me yet. I have tried a couple but the method of entering them is a real ball ache so that has put me off anyway.

I find it much more fun with cheats. And with this one, it's not like it matters, given what cheats we have. The only ones that have been at all useful have been spawning a Buzzard or a comet when I'm in the middle of nowhere. That's really it.

Define cheatless? I was under the impression after reading that you couldn't save your game if you've inserted cheats in it, but I have heard of exploits you could use (like the diving under water for the money cases infinetly)

You completely miss the point of cheating. I don't NEED to cheat. I WANT to cheat. It's much more fun going on rampages if you never have to worry about running out of ammo or dying 3 seconds in. THAT is what the majority of people want cheats for. You see the word "cheat" you think "THIS GUY SUCKS AT THE GAME AND CAN'T BEAT IT WITHOUT CHEATS." Well, A) Who gives a rat's ass what someone does in single player? And B) That's more than likely the farthest thing from the truth.
