When in the story you get the choice to (It was until today i realized you do actually kill them people depending on your choice) A: Kill trever B: Kill Mike C: Deathwish (All survive) I chose outcome C. why well, well maybe killing trever may save hundreds of other lives that he may terrorize he is still an amazing character none the less and mike well he has a family to care fore and again a brilliant character. There was no need for a bad ending. To me C is the best ending possible! and well let's say outcome A is actually quite disturbing and heartbreaking. Same for outcome B My question to you What did you chose? Why did you chose that one? And if you do or do-not regret choosing it why? I'm intrigued to know! It also felt generally out of character and dickish for Franklin. It would also ruin my post-story free roam which I hope lasts me a few years like GTA 4. I chose option C because i'm that type of person who is loyal to his friends (no matter how deranged they may be) and after all the sh*t these characters have gone through together it just didn't seem right to kill any of them off. I immediatly regretted this when it came time to kill Trevor because it was actually quite sad and I couldn't do that. I aimed the gun at him and never fired, finally Michael said something like "ah, kid" and then he shot the gasoline around trevor and we watched him burn to death. It was f*cked up. Surprised to hear you can actually kill them. I think that Trevor might be a psychotic dick sometimes, but he is one of iconic characters and I need him to get my trophies/ few more garage slots. Also, we were a good team. Why break that up? And thirdly, they were my mentors. They brought me into the game and showed me the way, to make some real duckets. I just wish that the writing would of had Franklin telling them that they tried to get him to betray them, both. I hope in future GTAs we start to get a little choice with dialogue and sh*t. As soon as that douche Steve asked me to kill Trevor my first thought was to call him and let him know what just happened. Sadly, that's not an option in the game. I'm curious though, what happens in the post story free roaming if you kill one of em? Do you get their businesses, money, safe houses or what? It's completely out of character and is an absolutely shocking piece of writing the whole way through. To just strip any integrity and relationships the characters developed through the story? It felt more like a classic GTA ending and I honestly would not have the heart to kill Michael or Trevor. I don't think Franklin would either. Thankfully we all did make it but man I can't believe you can actually kill one of the playable characters lol. It doesn't really make sense from the writer's perspective, seems like they just forced it in to have some major choice at the end. I guess C is the correct answer but I feel sorry for anybody who chooses to kill M or T thinking that somebody has to die and they don't want it to be Franklin, then their game is saved that way. Nor could I settle with the thought of never seeing Michael's daughter's fine ass again. On the real though, I love both characters and I just didnt see how Franklin would be able to kill them. Least of all Michael, who helped him out in a major way. And Trevor is just awesome in all ways and it would be a shame not being able to stroll around in his redneck jeep, f*cking sh*t up. Yea franklin would just not of had the guts to do it, and also choosing C as you said gave you the opportunity to wreck all them bastards who are annoying in the game anyway. The first thought was that regardless of Trevor's craziness, he was always loyal, and when it came to gangbangers, meth-heads, and all out San Andreas scum, he seemed much crazier, but with others he would appear completely normal. With the father figure incentive of Michael, I never really believed that Franklin would kill Michael or Trevor. He was loyal, and in the end, it was important to show that no matter what, loyalty was imperative. If Franklin could so easily wipe out Trevor or Michael, then he was just another puppet that would eventually end up dead at the FiB's hands anyway. What I loved was the fact you could stick together, and ride it out with your crazy, hillbilly murdering psychopath mentor, and your refined, indulging, miserable, lonely mentor. It was the best ending they could have gone with. The two death endings were just very shallow, didn't tie much up, or anything else. Noir I had suspected that one of the characters would die (and hopefully be replaced by a new 4th character), and if I had to choose who would die I would choose Trevor because duh. But when given the deathwish choice because I had assumed it would be a big shootout mission and that sounded like fun. But I will admit Trevor has grown on me more than I thought he would. He's a crazy psycho but he does have a vague sense of morality. I figured it I could save both M and T instead of killing one of them then I'd try that instead. And I liked Michael and Franklin much more, if I had to do it again, I would choose A again. Plus I had all my supercars and expensive stuff with Mike/Frank.
