Seriously, this is even worse than IV.

  • The physics engine is worse, I thought it was perfectly realistic in IV.
  • If you stay in an area for too long standing still it goes empty and noone comes through. I'm currently standing in downtown and there's one car driving past every 30 seconds.
  • Can't buy from food stores, hot dog stands etc.
  • Weapon customization isn't as extensive as i'd thought. I was hoping for multiple silencers etc. (the better the silencer, the less damage reduction).
  • I seem to be seeing the same 5-10 cars in each big part of the map.
  • Lack of enterable buildings.
  • Can't wheelie any motorcyles or push bikes.
  • Shooting while driving is a nightmare. It is damn near impossible to hit something with a single shot even if they are stationary. You have to just unload your weapon and hone in on the target. Sucks
  • The police are OP, and you die from like one shot.

From the previews, the game seemed simply amazing and full of features. Now it looks like Rockstar made an empty shell of a game with DLC that they will sell for the features that we should've had at launch.

I dont agree that its the worst GTA, but I agree with all of the points you brought up minus point #2 as I have not experienced it. Those who disregard all of them are just blinded by fanboyism.

Same here!

I can picture you people playing the game for five minutes and finding every thing that's different / the same and then come on here to complain about how every thing is different / the same. lol its annoying to read the same stupid sh*t over and over. We know, the wanted system is different you don't like it. We know, you can't enter a burger shot anymore. We get it. You should go on craigslist and sell your game since its so bad and you're soooooo above this game and it doesn't meet your perfect standards.

Perfect standards? Seeing flaws in a game obviously shows that people aren't afraid to show what they dislike about the game, I could easily say 'all the people who love the game and claim it is perfect should take their discs and make sweet love to them instead of coming on here spouting there love for it blah blah.'

For what it's worth, I've completed the game and I can confidently say I prefer IV, that doesn't make me a bad guy, it means I am not up Rockstar's arse over everything, all those saying the game is 'perfect' obviously don't know what perfect means, if it was indeed 'perfect' then there would be nothing more to add, no point in the next game, we wouldn't need GTA: Online or any further GTA games, if it was perfect then there would be nothing else to say about it and then perfect in fact would actually become a bad thing.

We are allowed to dislike certain elements of the game, or even dislike the whole game just as much as people are allowed to love it and think it is a 'masterpiece', it doesn't make us wrong, it makes us realistic about it's flaws, you can;t say the awful aliasing and pop-in textures are a good thing in the slightest, I have drove along and whole buildings have popped up out of nowhere, what's perfect about that?

Posts like yours are a breath of fresh air...love them :) However despite whatever annoyances I've had so far...I'm enjoying V more than IV, it may even beat Vice as my fav GTA of all time. Do I think it's perfect...no. There is no such thing. Moreover I'm not some brainwashed sheep that eats and worships whatever Rockstar s**** out without some criticisms. Sometimes I shout 'I hate this f***ing sh**' when I have gamer rage and something doesn't go my way or I fail a mission for something stupid (I completed a mission and an exploded helicopter landed on top of me lol) and other times I'm like 'This is so much fun...I love this.' All GTA games take me on a roller coaster of emotion which is why it's fun for me and why I've stayed loyal to the franchise because it still manages to give me entertainment that I have yet to find in other games.

Well it doesn't matter what you think because the driving in IV was not realistic. :santa:

Let's not forget how everyone was saying this would be "the best GTA ever" and nobody knew if R* could make a better game :colgate:

Nah not worse than IV not for me anyway. The only thing that stands out for IV other than the obvious graphics improvement and the new engine was the story. V story is the best by miles. IV was good V better.

It is my favourite GTA now, the game isn't perfect there is many areas some the OP pointed out that I would have liked improving.

Not my favourite game comes very close though.

v storyline better than iv!? O_O v storyline was so mediocre the main antagonist was f*cking DEVIN!

IV story went on for too long diamonds were more important than revenge at one point. Plus the last antagonist was thrown in at the end. Besides revenge has been so played out in the GTA series. IV just did it better.

The relationship between Trev and Mike was better than any antagonist.

:sui: you're like the first dude who dislike this!

the ONLY downgrade of this game is, bike-controlling doesn't seem in place. I mean, all the cars are turn (example) fast. like the super GT in GTA SA. same here in V, they shouldn't do the same with bikes, lean to left/right FIRST then turn. not like....INSANE TURN! NOOOOOOOOOW! thats the only downgrade of the game! (my opinion)

WHAT??? what da you mean by "The physics engine is worse, I thought it was perfectly realistic in IV"????? WTF? I hate the GTA IV graphics! :sui: they like HELL! GTA SA's graphics ON THE PS2 IS BETTER! jeeez! when I saw a screenshot of V, I though it was fake because of the graphics! I was like:

WTF? that MUST BE fake! its from real-life! hey R*, you think you can fool us? you definetly took a picture of another dude who's on a bicycle and added GTA V logo! ;) solved mystery???

now you tell me V's graphics are worse than IV???? man, you're missing out! :monocle:

- no interiors

- no heists that are interesting

-did a 12 year old on adderall write the script? wtf.

-cops ruin any fun immediately

-aiming is impossible (esp in cars while driving)

-protagonists are so f*cking lame

-story is so boring

-driving is f*cking stupid

-map is all sticks/woods, barely any city, and its all hills and impossible to drive and have fun except on highways

-garbage graphics

-impossible to get gold on missions. what a f*cking job it is.

No it isn't impossible to get gold. Once you play through the game once, you get better at the controls. Yesterday, I managed to bump up at least 6 missions that I got bronze/silver in to gold. Easy as sh*t and if you're still having problems, watch GTASeriesVideos.

Rockstar ruin GTA V Single Player. 256 Million dollars and we got a better looking IV with a few more things. I already got 80% of the game done with only about 40 hours played which 12 hours was me f*cking around.

Sad Rockstar focus on the Online which will die when GTA VI comes out.

Waiting for a responds from a Rockstar fanboy that thinks there's nothing wrong with the game.

Also whats so good about the underwater life. Still boring and lifeless.

respect what other people like :^: don't insult/offend something like that. being bad for you DOESN'T MEAN everyone hate/dislike/agree with you :monocle:

did IV have planes? NO! did it have garages that can hold AT-LEAST four vehicles? HELL NO! (only some small yellow rectangle that...whatever it says with a BIG CHANCE of another road vehicle to hit and push your vehicle away)

you think EVERYONE will have the same mind like you?

and who say about underwater life??? only to find treasures and etc.

not offending or something, this is for ANYTHING in this life:

hater are gonna hate, lovers are gonna love :^: nobody can change anybody's mind. except god.

That fake ass map might be huge but unfortunately it's just full of empty mountains which are useless, barely any kind of actual deep forest or something like that. The underwater is again something useless which they could have ditched in order to put SF or LV or both in instead of a place where you barely see anything. The mini games have nothing to do with a GTA game, instead of giving us some real action packed mini games they gave us some f*cking yoga, golf, and tenis, if I wanna play that I go look for some games that offer me exactly that. OVERHYPED TO THE SKIES AND BEYOND!!!

So you do not like 9 things out of the million different things V offers, and that justifies it being the worse game of the franchise? If that is really how you feel then trade your copy in and move on, no point in bitching about it.

Have you not seen the exteriors of the buildings in this game?

There beautiful. Theres SO much detail into every little aspect the buildings, roads, everything.

This makes interiors less exciting IMO.

Previous GTA games buildings we're simple blocks with little to no detail and just simply boring, the only places you could find something that was detailed was interiors that was really the whole point IMO.

Now that everything is outstandingly detailed outside, i have no need to search for interiors.

The outside satisfies me.

Why do i need to get a hot dog, My Safe house has health packs, Health has some minor regenerative affects, I love this, no more being super worried of being bumped into cause im blinking red. If I need something bad, hope in a cab home or remember you can always drink sprunk or still call for medics. Car physics, WOW I wish I could drop my controller and use my Logitech GT wheel when cruising. I have never felt that way about ANY GTA till now. Feels like a real racing game at that point, Hit a Piller and yes your tire locks up, good makes you drive better, try that with your car in real life. Even the opening makes it feel like a racing or hot pursuit game. :inlove:

Just finished the game. It's lackluster at best. I don't know what they were doing for the 8 years they were making it. The whole thing is very strange and rushed feeling. I have a hunch that once the online comes out it will be WAY more in depth than single player. I really do think that that is where they put their focus this time around. (Much to my dismay!) :whuh:

Little William

I wouldn't say it's the worst GTA ever made, that's crazy. But I can't say it's the best, every GTA has it owns pros and cons, and this GTA with GTA:SA and GTA IV pros would be much more better, and certainly the best. But now, as it is, it's not the best, but I don't say that there is a GTA which is the best.

The best GTA for me would be all the pros from GTA:SA, GTA IV and GTA V together in one game. That would be the best. But they didn't do that yet, so for me there is no a thing like "the definitive GTA to date".

Maybe GTA VI change that, now that it won't be so f*cked up by the hardware side of 8 year old consoles. And if they do it as PC as main platform (and ported to PS4 / XBOX ONE), much better, since the new generation uses the same architecture and PC don't have hardware limits.

I don't agree with this one. Given the rate Cockstar is following in producing a GTA in donkey years, by the time GTA VI is released, PS4 and XB1 would become obsolete and PS5/XB 2 will be around the corner, and like GTA V, we will be stuck playing an obsolete game on obsolete hardware which will give us a lot of problems. I wish by then Cockstar will some competition then so they will pull up their socks and starting producing a GTA we most wanted, not just a rehash like GTA V.

I can't replicate this alleged problem of there being no traffic in downtown areas when loitering. Downtown is packed with cars for as long as I stand around there. I've been standing around various areas for over 5 minutes at a time.
