Seriously, this is even worse than IV.

 

• The physics engine is worse, I thought it was perfectly realistic in IV.
• If you stay in an area for too long standing still it goes empty and noone comes through. I'm currently standing in downtown and there's one car driving past every 30 seconds.
• Can't buy from food stores, hot dog stands etc.
• Weapon customization isn't as extensive as i'd thought. I was hoping for multiple silencers etc. (the better the silencer, the less damage reduction).
• I seem to be seeing the same 5-10 cars in each big part of the map.
• Lack of enterable buildings.
• Can't wheelie any motorcyles or push bikes.
• Shooting while driving is a nightmare. It is damn near impossible to hit something with a single shot even if they are stationary. You have to just unload your weapon and hone in on the target. Sucks
• The police are OP, and you die from like one shot.

From the previews, the game seemed simply amazing and full of features. Now it looks like Rockstar made an empty shell of a game with DLC that they will sell for the features that we should've had at launch.

as ive said before, gta iv is the worst of the series. the lost and the ballad are better then IV's main campaign. SA>VC>V>3>IV. thats how it goes in my eyes.

Also; GTA5 isn't perfect. No-one in this thread is saying it's flawless. But it's still better than what came before it.

 

V is better then IV but for me SA >>>>>>> V > or equal to VC >> IV = III

 

They made V seem to be filled with MANY different things. That isn't the case. I really am hoping they just cut the content out for a quick cash cause 5 years and this is what they come up with is just very disappointing.

GTA IV was a nightmare for me. LC is gray and sad city, besides all the sadness in the storyline - where there is no good end at all (and no good opening too!), GTA V is a great game, look around - the whole game is colourful, happy and hopeful. You have a lot of opportunities you didn't even know about, random encounters (they do not show on your map) and a huge world to explore.

 

Learn to play a simple videogame.

- Hell no. I don't see where these complaints are coming from. GTA V had physics on par with GTA IV's.

- I haven't had this problem...

- That is disappointing. There are hotdog stands and restaurants but you can't use them. It's bullsh*t.

I agree with most of op's points i'm fairly bored as well and feel like i've already done everything and there's nothing really left to do now except play online but that's impossible at this very moment. Golf, tennis and those other mini games are pointless to me and aren't really that fun after playing the first few times. The map feels so small now that i have seen everything i'm disappointed but i don't hate it hopefully the online will reignite my fun with this game.

The physics in GTA 4 ..Weren't realistic ...At all.

Wow... sorry to hear you don't like the game... I feel the exact opposite.. This game, IMO, is leaps and bounds better than IV and I loved IV. I love the improved driving mechanics that some have been complaining about.... V has been extremely hard to put down and so far has beaten any other game I've played on the 360 or PS3... to each their own..

 

Edit: My one complaint, or wish for something different, would be the aiming reticle. Too small and the fact that it's white makes it blend into way to much when in a fire fight... If I could change the size and/or color this game would be near perfection in my book

This is such a trite, boring argument. It's entirely subjective. Personally I don't see how anyone can say this is the worst GTA game, much less a "bad" game at all. I have had non-stop fun with it since day one, and every night I discover something new. Simply because it has "flaws" doesn't make it bad. Name me one game that doesn't have any flaws...If you can, you have found the "perfect" game. Such a thing does not exist.

 

Some things people complain about don't really make sense to me either - you can't buy hot dogs? I don't know about you, but buying fake pixelated hot dogs isn't fun in the slightest. Driving isn't "realistic" enough? Perfect example of not being able to make everyone happy all of the time. If it was too realistic, half of the haters would be complaining that it wasn't fun or arcadey enough. And you complain about not enough realism in the driving, but TOO much realism in the police. I mean, if you commit a robbery or go on a murder spree IRL, you will have cops all over your a** who will not stop pursuing you until you are dead or in cuffs, possibly including a chase covered live on television. So in one instance, you want more realism, but in another, you want less. Make up your mind.

 

Tired of the complaining. This game is awesome. Truly, if you are not at least entertained, nothing will satisfy you.
