Well she said "eew get away from me or I'm calling the cops" so I stood there. She proceeded to call the cops..... I got one star. Mind you I never touched her..... Cops role up lights and siren. I figure I did nothing wrong ill sit there and give up to the cops...... Well with no warning, the cops shoot me dead for looking at a white woman.... This is a game & cops are going to be out to kill you. Hell, if you acted like that in real life, cops would shoot to kill, so it's not exactly that unrealistic. The police helicopter pilots are a lot better at flying now. I was in the airport hanger earlier & the helicopter flew in, around & out without crashing. I'm not sure I could do that. So in-game I scraped a cop car got 1 star and sped off. After chasing me for 20 seconds it turned into 2 stars and they started firing at me and I got killed You're saying that's realistic? Look at the real news and you'll see that cops tend to shoot first and ask questions later in LA. When I was at LA in July for E3 every single morning there was a report about how a cop killed someone. One thing I really hate about GTA 5 (I can chalk it up to the much more intelligent AI) is how they stop you if you are in a car. I once took a fully armored car (100%) with bulletproof wheels and full upgrades. I also got tons of ammo and body armor and headed to the main highway where I believe I would last the longest... The police are just plain psychotic. Was driving about 2-300MPH it felt like down this highway only to see a black SUV barreling towards me at full speed, full of SWAT soldiers on the inside and outside. I thought he was going to spin and start shooting early...nope. The damn driver turned right as I was about to pass him and hit me with the force/stopping power of a GTA IV Taxi. My car went flying down the highway, doing barrel rolls and flips and all that. Meanwhile, this SUV is chasing me as I am wrecking down the road, STILL SHOOTING. I end up going over the rails of the highway and landed in a gully upside down only to have enough time to see 50,000,000 police units come flying down the hill with helos chasing them, opening fire on me like this was D-Day, only they were the Germans and I was the one single American. WinterEdit Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 1 Stars: They attempt to arrest you, but if you get on a car (or escape for about a minute) it gets to 2 Stars. 2 Stars: They start shooting. 3 Stars: The helicopter comes. 4 Stars: FIB joins the party + 1 extra chopper (meaning 2 choppers herping around) 5 Stars: 3 choppers, NOOSE teams + your favorite doughnut-eating cops. Tomsz Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 if you rob a 24/7 store and stay in there long enough if a cop comes in and ur back is turned you will get busted and if you were wearing a balaclava as I was it will get confiscated by the cops after u get busted aswell as all ur ammo, I'm sure you can get it back from your wardrobe however. It's like owning a car with a big engine and having lots of power you can't always use which makes it fun whenever you can use it all. Then they hop out and search the perimeter. And of course they shoot to kill, who in their right mind wants to get busted anyway? Lol the point is to go out in a hail of bullets not turn yourself in. In previous gta's it pissed me off when the cops were chasing me, I get stuck, then they open my door at gunpoint and bust me. I like the rampaging police. Can't see what people complain about. >"Oh man, the cop shoots me when l run, how lame." A hospital cost, what, 0.5% your bank with a $5000 max. And you can hide your cash in stocks. If anything, the penalty for death is too small. Getting busted you lose all weapons and ammo, way worse. RowanSane Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 Fun tip I picked up watching 'GTA V mythbusters episode 1' on YouTube earlier - lead police choppers into the wind farm to 'lose them with extreme prejudice'. Of course you still have to GET there...since I haven't tried it myself yet there is no guarantee this won't increase your wanted level but it shouldn't.
