Seriously, the cops are way to aggressive in this game compared to other GTA's. 1 star and they're shooting at you? Wait, what? Exactly. 2 stars and they have a chopper (if not more) already on you? 3 stars and up and you're pretty much dead. I'm at the point where when I get a star or two I just drop everything or anything I was doing(missions, etc) and focus only on losing the po po. I've only been killed by the po po. If you get 1 star and then you have a weapon out when police show up they will start shooting. if you are unarmed they will just all run up to you and take you down and you will be busted. 2 stars I agree is ridiculous they will all start ramming you with the force of 18 greek gods and anything beyond 3 stars GOOD LUCK Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The sh*t is crazy. They actually only start attacking on Star 2. Star one, they chase after you for about a minute trying to arrest you, then it goes to 2 stars where they start shooting at you. This is a game & cops are going to be out to kill you. Hell, if you acted like that in real life, cops would shoot to kill, so it's not exactly that unrealistic. The police helicopter pilots are a lot better at flying now. I was in the airport hanger earlier & the helicopter flew in, around & out without crashing. I'm not sure I could do that. In GTA4 you could run away/drive off for an extremely long time before getting a second star. In GTA 5 its after a couple seconds, I've even had cases where I stand perfectly still and by the time the cop runs up to bust me, enough time has passed to give a second star and make him just shoot me instead. I'm either driving around dodging the cars, Or heading off road where they won't always follow you Or jumping in a train, then taking out the helicopters it just losing them in tunnels, Or of course if your close enough, get back to the safe house and hide in bed until it's over! I don't use cheats, it's not a complaint, I never said it needed a change, and I stated "in this game compared to other GTA's," but yeah I haven't played any other gta before. I like that you have more options to deal with them instead of the tried and true get-a-car-and-drive-away-as-fast-as-possible routine. Honestly, the only thing that I dislike about the new star/police system is the insane response time. Go to the middle of friggin nowhere and commit the pettiest of crimes and it's like BAM! Well she said "eew get away from me or I'm calling the cops" so I stood there. She proceeded to call the cops..... I got one star. Mind you I never touched her..... Cops role up lights and siren. I figure I did nothing wrong ill sit there and give up to the cops...... Well with no warning, the cops shoot me dead for looking at a white woman.... I had one star, stupidly drove down a very narrow, dead-end alley, got out of the car to give myself up and they just unloaded on me. I've never been arrested, only shot dead.
