PS3 - Where is Classic Controls in GTA5?

Where did it it go? I don't understand why would Rockstar get rid of classic controls in GTA5? They always have classic controls & standard controls in GTA3 & GTA4.. ROCKSTAR, if you're reading it, please UPDATE GTA5 to bring classic controls back because I don't like to use standard controls and I have a hard time to drive, fly, & shoot with standard controls.

Rockstar, I tried to email you other day but no response and I'm going to write you again. I'm having a serious problem for controls in GTA5 for Playstation 3 because there's no classic controls. I can't handle play too good with standard, alternate, or southpaw controls.. What happened to classic controls that it always have in GTA3 & GTA4. Many people and I are disappointed for missing classic controls in GTA5. I'm a great driver & pilot with classic controls in GTA4 but now in GTA5 I cannot play WITHOUT classic controls anymore. For helicopter, I always use X button for ascend up, square button for ascend down & L2/R2 for yaw. Those default controls you have in GTA5 don't make any difference when changing controls because every standard, alternate, & southpaw controls are the same button for flying and driving, too. For classic controls, it makes BIG difference and that's what we want it back. Please, I beg you pleaseeee update GTA5 for classic controls. If not, at least, give us customization controls that we can choose which button want to control. A lot of people are upset for missing classic controls and it made us feels like don't want to play GTA5 more often.

Make that two people. Overall, the classic controls were easier to use, and I would love to see them make a comeback. At least in some form where the other new features don't suffer, anyway. They patched in the use of L1 and R1 in RDR for aiming/shooting, so they can definitely do this.

Complaints are everywhere, actually. I wouldn't say that the controls of a game are a "little thing." Getting Rockstar to change the color of a building's wall from brown to dark brown is a "little thing." The controls are actually a big part of the game's overall enjoyment and functionality.

 

I'm guessing Rockstar will actually change this, because I've read hundreds of comments complaining about this on various forums ... and Rockstar has stated that they will listen to every suggestion.

 

Plus, it's a very simple thing to change. And don't you think it's a bit strange that we can customize the heritage and partying of our character, but can't change something that actually can affect gameplay? lol

 

And why be negative about it? Try supporting your fellow gamers for once.

Rockstar has SPECIFICALLY STATED that they want all the suggestions for gameplay that we can send them.

 

Who are you to say it's better? Maybe it's better for YOU, but I can show you plenty of examples where the new setup makes certain actions much more difficult. Controlling a helicopter with the new controls is a joke.

 

But seriously, shouldn't you support your fellow gamers instead of being negative? Would it hurt you if they added a patch? And yes, they very likely will ... that's why they're taking suggestions. They will be making many changes and fixes in the next coming weeks and months, according to them.

 

Did you miss the previous comment where the guy talked about them patching Red Dead with the L1/R2 firing because some people didn't like using L2/R2? And besides, it's not a NEW LAYOUT as you say ... it's the same layout that they've used for many years.
