I see everyone keeps criticizing the new GTA 5.

 

First of all, everyone kept epecting all these great things in GTA 5 that were never anounced by the makers, such as "being able to rob ATM's", "changing the license plates on the cars" etc. Now, you can however change the color on the license plates, but you can't exchange license plates.

 

Second of all, Rockstar even said "3/4's of the map was mountains and hills. Only the southern/bottom half of the map is city."

I expect that much of what we thought was rumo. None comes to mind but while playing the story there were lots of moments where I couldn't do something and thought 'huh, I thought they were including that.' One example is hunger which I'm SOO glad they left out.

 

Can't say nothing on the map though. f*cker's huge!!! The city (huge!!) is only a small part of it.

When someone boasts about vastness and detail of their games world... I don't expect it to have less things in it than previous installments in the series. I expect it to have everything from those installments and more. But instead it's had lots of features held back for the online mode. Which in my opinion opens it up for critique on it's singleplayer.

 

I have full confidence the online will be fun as they have created a really great map. But the singleplayer does leave a lot to be desired when you think of what they could have done.

Zip ex - that was my problem with IV. They gave us a huge world filled with detailed, textured, beautiful buildings - and not much else
