Thunderer08 Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 I've had the same problem. all ok for the first 2 weeks of single player the morning of patch 1.01 the disc errors or false eject on PS3 then as the week goes on unable to read disc, corrupted disc image instead of a bluray icon...I can play every other game expect my GTA V disc. so returned the disc for a new one...same problem... so I did the reset the console and wait for the double bleep, tried the rebuild the files nothing, so saved all my game save and reset the PS3 to as new settings still nothing and GTA IV won't load.... Gran Tourismo 5 loaded so played on the for 5 minutes tried GTA V disc and then it loaded... I had deleted the save and patch so after 30 minutes game launched... So ok all works but now I won't turn off my console for the forseable future.... as for future Rockstar games ...I don't think so... PS4 no thanks.... any console no never again..... this has been the most disapointing game launch ever for me and not worth the crap I have had to put up with...never again...once the trophies required are done i'm turning it off for good. Nah just kidding but there must be something wrong with either the console or even you because this doesn't happen to everyone. If you buy something and it turns out to not work due to glitches, why buy another copy of the same thing? If a certain brand of food gives you poisoning, you do not keep buying that food. If you bought a music cd because it has some of your favorite songs, and that disc isn't working because it's either scratched, or the music player isn't reading the disc for some reason, you wouldn't say the music sucked, you would return it for another disc. That would be stupid and a waste of money. But it doesn't work that way. The disc can't also be read because of hardware-related problems. It could be the disc's problem, sure and also it could be the console's problem. Also, if the person who ate the food got "poisoning", sometimes the person's body can't handle the food or other stuff happening. Deffpony Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 They arent ignoring their customers. They have been very vocal about issues with the game and have fixed most of the problems. If their is a problem with the game, send them an email and they will try and work on it. I have sent alot of emails to rockstar and they are very good at dealing with our feedback/complaints.
