toybasher Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 I came across a event where two robbers are robbing dollar pills pharma. You act as getaway driver and appearently if you complete it, you find out one of the robbers is Packie from GTA4 and he can help you on heists. All major random events with named or unique characters can't be repeated if they get completed, if you fail them wait 7 in-game days. I was driving around as Franklin and drove to the drug store and saw Packie and someone else but they were just standing there doing nothing, no dialogue or anything, the store worker was stood there cowering though which makes me think this is a glitch. Anyway I drove away and ever since whenever I go back there is nobody there. I've tried going back as all three characters as well and nothing so now I've finished the story and haven't been able to use Packie in heists. I also heard that during his dialogue after you start driving him away from the drug store that he hints that Niko might be dead Although I don't know how much truth is in this as I can't complete the mission to confirm or deny it. He says "he might be dead too" .... If the others are repeatable then picking up the dying get away driver will come up again? I almost got her to Sandy Shores, but didn't quite make it.
