Police AI is too Exploitable

I've noticed it's turning into the same old routine to get away from them.

1. Drive out of their cone of vision

2. Once out of the vision cone wait for the next police car coming towards your direction.

3. Turn into a road away from said car and keep driving.

4. Steal a different car. Stealing a different car helps somehow throw the police off your scent in this game (nice feature I think)

5) Drive off and that's it, no more police.

This is the same routine EVERYTIME though. The police AI never mix up their routine and this is the one annoying thing about this game. The police AI is too exploitable.

I don't even swap cars now just because I want some sort of challenge getting away. Really wish some AI sub-routines were implemented into the police AI code.

I usually do those steps up until 4). This is when I just get out of my car and take cover behind a dumpster or whatever. Then once they're gone or further away, I just hop into my car and drive off.

First people say the police is too aggressive and hard, then they say they are easy and then they say they are exploitable.

You know what I think? It's a game, not a simulator.

I've only played the game for 4 hours though, and it gets kind of old hiding. Wish you could speed up time there. If a car is available, I would much rather outrun them and then 4x4 off road or whatever while I wait for the stars to stop blinking.

Try getting a five-star wanted level and then trying that.

I've done this many times, dashing unnoticed into parking garages and alleyways. More often than not, a cop car looking for me will immediately drive to where I am, despite the fact that (supposedly) no-one saw me hide.

In my opinion the cops are perfect in this game. They aren't too stupid like in IV and the previous games, and there not too hard like real life.

I've not hit 5 yet, but 4 and below seems predictable. But i'm guessing with 5 it will just require more vehicle swapping

When people have problems with the game they always blame the game. GTA V has flaws and so do the players. I never heard anyone say it's me, its always the game, sounds like a bunch of narcissist to me.

Actually, the cops are so easy to escape.

I wish I could have a long chase where they'd follow me, that'd be awesome.

Instead of losing them all the time.
