Anyone else found this while diving? -Sea creature possible spoiler-

So I just finished the game - some tears in my eyes - and bought the submarine-thingy and started collecting nuclear waste bins on the sea bottom. After I picked the 11th I went out on a little exploration further out and deep into the sea. For those who's been on the sea floor really deep you know it's frightening. Suffering from severe water phobia from the original Half-Life back in the days, I must say I didn't think about the water as anything but a fun way to play the game.

Anyway, so I was around the mid south east side of the Island, just above the critical depth when I saw something glimmer at a "hill" if you can call it that. As you can't pick anything but bins up with the submarine, I went out and started swimming towards the object. All of the sudden, there's this shadow in front of me, swimming real fast. I thought it was a shark but no red dot on the map. I turned around and saw something "mermaid"-like with a spear in it's hand (I thought it was a spear anyway) just hovering in the water looking at me. Then as soon as I swam towards it, it dissapeared again, really fast leaving a small trail of bubbles behind. I got sh*t scared because of the dark waters, the surrounding walls and that fast moving object.

I am sure it was a mermaid, but I don't even know if they exist or if it could have been something else. I will never leave the submarine again :-( Maybe then I can take a picture if Social Club is working (HA!).

When I was scuba diving, a red blip popped up on my radar as well, but I have no idea what it was.

I think sharks show up as a red dot, and sharks only. There wasn't a red dot on my map when I saw this thing :-/

Had nightmares about this Mermaid, seriously :-D Altho, I have played 12+ hours since Wednesday so I guess I'm suffering from some severe GTA disese at the moment -P
