Trevor's Air Arms Trafficking Mission

Has anyone been able to beat the air mission where you have to bomb the train and the boats? Even if I fly directly for the train, hit it, and then fly as fast as I can to the boats, at the end of Raton Canyon, I run out of time, just after the boats have come into sight. It's happened multiple times.

I have been having the same problem. I've been looking online for answers, and haven't been able to find anything as of yet. I see that this question is a week old. Were you ever able to figure anything out???

I kept retrying this. I do find the timer ridiculously low for this. If the train spawns a little bit to the south, I always fail. If you catch the trains at the tracks close to Trevors house before it goes in the tunnel, you have a chance to make.

 

I do agree, the timer is really low for this. You pretty much have to get the train spawning at the right place to be able to continue.

i just press r2 and left to kinda get a head start with my take off... dont take to long trying to take off.. you gotta be real fast

 

I had a min and 30 seconds left coming to the mountains so its pretty easy if you get off the ground fast

I FINALLY DID IT. It definitely all depends on where the train is, and where it's heading. I just got it as it was going northbound, RIGHT before it enters a tunnel. I had 1:45 to make it to the boats, and made it with about 10 seconds to spare.

Number 1 tip: stick to the lowest altitude possible; you waste time/distance by climbing.

 

That was easily the 10th time I tried it. I definitely thought it was impossible since I always came up at least 10 seconds too slow.
