After being in a GTA IV roleplay clan for a year, my freinds and I decided we wanted to make our own with the release of GTA V. We are taking the in-game ability to make crews and we are adding to it. You can pick any job you want to do and base your buisness around it. If you want to be a gangster.....create a gang. How do you know that this stuff is even possible to do?

how the hell do you RP on something that isn't and can't be setup for RP? you can't script a server((there aren't even servers from what i know just p2p)), there is no keyboard, so people without mic's are screwed, there are alot of impossible things. this is why people still play old games, and on PC, easy to mod and run things like GTA SA ((which has SAMP, you can RP on that REALLY good depending on the server))

 

RP, on the level of a well scripted samp server, is IMPOSSIBLE on console. weather or not it's possible on the PC port of GTA5 is yet to be seen, but if it is, i'm upgrading my PC ASAP.

 

feel free to argue with me if you want. BTW i'm not bashing your clan or preferred platform, ((i have a PS3 and PC, kinda wanted a 360 but what's the point now, with next gen)) just saying i'm pretty sure that SERIOUS or even MODERATE roleplay is impossible on console. and only people with good PC's will be able to do it on GTA5. but hey if a GTA5 version of a SAMP like thing comes out, ALOT of people with capable rigs will probably switch, and even people with piss rigs ((like me)) will wanna upgrade, and once the pro scripters ((like the guys for red county roleplay and los santos roleplay)) get in on it, it'll be a wave of pure awesomeness. 100+ player dedicated RP servers, lots of interiors, jobs, apartment buildings/hotels etc.

 

i could even imagine a 1000 player server with tons of custom interiors, jobs, car lots, maybe even mods etc. ((600 players a day average 850 or so peak, and a bunch of registered users))

ohh its possible. to rp, in gta online, you just have to have the right people , if your all friends on xbox 360 or whatever things can be done, the only thing that limits you is the 16 player, cap, but, even that cab work out if you break your crews down to 4 mAN running gangs, theres no stoping a good imagination, it just takes more thought to make it work, I fully support this, and hope for the best good luck

I was just curious as to how its possible, Imagination or not, how do you effectively "police" someone when you are being policed yourself by the games REAL police...? I support the idea and imagination and it sounds fun, just not grasping the feasibility yet I guess.
