ShaneHunter
Why would Trevor and Michael go into exile out of fear of Madrazzo if Trevor could've simply beaten the crap out of him like it is implied he did later on? Madrazzo's character was too inconsistent. At first he is comes off as a power cartel leader with high tech weapons only to become Trevor's bitch. I also found the whole subplot with Madrazzo's wife and Trevor stupid.
RichG
I agree, he was someone they fled town to escape out of fear of his vast and powerful criminal empire even though Trevor had punked him out the whole time! Trevor could have just said "Hey, Mike, I beat the s**t out of this guy, ripped his ear off and stole his wife, why don't we just head back into town and keep this valuble artifact." Psycho_Motorin
I can see that, but personally I found that all to be pretty well done. Everyone else in the game goes after you, the Chinese go after you, etc etc. One guy actually fearing that Trevor is a maniac he doesn't want to mess with, especially after kidnapping his wife, I can see that. Plus Michael did give him that statue thingy. So while I can agree it'd make sense for him to go after the guys, that would be similar to how a lot of other plots played out, so the way it did go was unexpected and unique, so I dig it. JasperHQ
The part where trevor was crying was stupid and seemed out of character
ShaneHunter
Yeah i disliked the whole subplot and found Trevor's "romance" with Madrazzo's wife stupid. There are many cases of characterizations being inconsistent in the game. Edited September 23, 2013 by ShaneHunter
MrGlue
I agree. I found Madrazzo's and Trevor's characters to be the most inconsistent. The story as a whole was pretty bad imo. Good I don't play it for the story I guess. Edited September 23, 2013 by Scooby803
