redx165
So I'm already at 73% done with the game with about 35 hours played. 10 of those hours wasn't even do anything. Just me f*cking around. Anyways did Rockstar lie to us again or did they just take out content to make a cheap buck as DLC?

Dr Kain
I'm 36 hours into the game and am only 44% done with it and have only done the first 19 story missions, so I'm not sure what your problem is.
Dope_0110
They didn't say story is 100 hours. Doing other stuff besides the story will easily keep most people entertained for a few hundred hours, just not people who like to bitch about the game. 7REW7
Osho
R* did not lie wholly but played it smart this time. Every one thinks they have paid for GTA V and now they got the game above all GTAO access free with the copy! Well.. ehm... What are those locked areas doing on my copy? I have paid for the game and has every right and still permission denied. Previously, areas were locked at start but accessible with progress, now we have entire map but with areas locked from start accessible only if you have internet connection ( if u knw what i mean )

I'm just asking a simple question where is the 100 hours plus content they said? Did they screw over Single Player for the online mode ( Which will last for 5 years or until new GTA ) or did they strip it for extra cash cause this game didn't make enough to cover development and more ( Sarcasm )

Yes they did screw over Single Player. They have more sh*t to do in GTA Online then they do in the Single Player. That's sad cause once a new GTA game is out NO one will play GTA V online. Screwing around doesn't count towards content in the game. Its just screwing around. Free time is more like it. I'm already got 73% done and its only been 5 days since the game been out. I only played 35 hours and 10 hours was me screwing around. So that's only about 25 hours maybe 27 hours of content in the game. They lied to us. Here's a question. Why do we have a useless casino in the game? They didn't focus on Single Player that long. Edited September 22, 2013 by redx165

Old_BenKenobi
I'm at the same percentage and at 50 hours of gameplay. You have to remember that there is a lot of content that isn't included on the percentage. The 100% completion says you only need to do 14 random events and 20 stranger missions, but there are nearly 60 of both. Only 100 of the 300(?) hidden objects are on the list. Only half of the aerial challenges and stunt jumps are on the list. Etc etc. In other words, 100% completion is a lie. alb-mac
I am 23 hours in, and around 17% into the game. If "screwing around" is considered a part of that "100+ gameplay" then I do a LOT of that because there is soo much to see.

GTA-Addicted
That's sad cause once a new GTA game is out NO one will play GTA V online. I think you are forgetting about the fact that R* stated they will add new stuff to GTAO and new places will appear when the time is right. So I would guess GTAO is here to stay and will be adapted in GTA VI with new stuff added (which prolly can be downloaded/installed in the GTAO we already have, we're upgrading it) so my bet is that GTAO will be a massive online world in a couple of years. Not sure if this is the case tho!
sm1thy17396
I finished the main story and my play time is 30+ hours. The ? missions are not part of the main missions so that could take up to maybe 4-5 hours to finish them all. To finish all the races you are talking atleast 5 hours. Buying stocks, vehicles and other sh*t on your phone can easily take some time up. Buying all the businesses and doing all the missions for the businesses can take up a lot of time. Customizing cars can take some time. Random Events can be done unlimited times and they offers a variety. Finding all the collectables such as space ship parts etc. Activites like golf, tennis, yoga, flying school, hunting, darts, shooting range, stripclub etc. Bounty hunter missions. Going scuba diving and trying to find loot underwater. Calling up friends and hanging out with them. Stunt jumps. Exploring the map. Customize your character. It's safe to say that the singe player does have 100+ hours off playing time.

ShaneHaughey
I'm at 87% completion and 90 hours, in many ways because I'm playing the game as it's meant to be played.
