EDIT

The links look a little suspect, they are not. If you search for this block of text in google, it will pull up the first article. The next two articles are links from the first.

Paste this into google.

"Scouring through the network configuration settings shows a number of administration tools and options that will be available. Given that this is the Xbox 360's configuration settings it surprised me to see that the game will support a max number" ..........................

Zero views. Hmm.. Oh yeah, I forgot to make the thread title vague.

There's some pretty cool info above about Rockstar at least TRYING to make more than 16 players online, as well as some extracted code that points in the direction of PC.

Well it's not exactly new info. In an interview it was said that they had tried it with 32 but without sacrificing gameplay then it wasn't possible on current gen.

Second link

"While it would be easier to just list it, because... really... instead I can only say that there are a few extra weather settings in the PC version... such as a blizzard. Now many of you might think that this means snow. No. Snow is already in the list of the PC settings but “blizzard” does not appear in the console version of the weather settings... or rather, it's not a setting you can activate on console."

There's nothing wrong with the title.

Idiots in these forums just want to reply on nonsensical topics...whine topics...

It sounds like they got a lot of cool Cops and Crooks gameplay down pat.

Other than that I don't see much "new" info. But that's mostly because I remembered them saying they were trying to get 32 people online in an interview and I was dead set that they were developing for PC.

If anyone wants to know where there can't be 32 Players in GTAOnline then here is your answer in the quoted post.

I mentioned in my original OP before I edited it that they were at least trying.

The second two articles are interesting.

I didn't know that there was already code for PC inside of our console versions, and it contains Blizzard weather conditions in addition to the snow that we have access to right now.

GuantanamoObama

The cop roles are certainly exciting.

I can't wait for online games like the ones the first article mentions.

I also want to set up a game of capture the flag, but there is a single flag in the middle of a valley. Two teams of 8 snipers on opposite sides.
