Trevor's airstrip question.

Ok, when I first saw I had an airstrip and chopper pad, i looked at the chopper pad and I could swear it wanted me to buy it.

 

Then we get to the mission where trevor keeps that chopper and now that is availiable at any time on the heil pad I didn't buy.

 

Did I miss something, or read it wrong when I only THOUGHT it wanted me to buy it?
