People always talk about getting the most laughs from Trevor, and I respect that. But Lamar won me over. He was just so.. not stupid, but blind to most things and the dialouge between him and Franklin in mostly every mission was hilarious. I'd like to see Trevor and Lamar make it in Greatest Character or whatever the award is at some kind of Video Game award show. Funny as hell. Truly underrated in these forums. And i was hoping to have quite some missions by his side, representing the grove or some sh*t, instead, we hanged with Lamar in like 3 missions, in wich the plot would be "Lamar get's some easy-score lick. Was really hoping when the crew was all looking down at the final mission, he just would've walked over, no words. Just "Niiiyyguuuh." As for your second post, yeah, I agree. I don't know why, but when **minor yoga spoiler** Fabian said "back into my penis" The way he pronounced penis...like pen-iss. made me laugh so hard and then Michael's rage happened. gooched1 Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 Lamar is definitely a scene stealer, I found him the most consistently funny guy in the game. Sure Trevor has the lines and the craziness, but he sometimes falls under the all too predictable nature of games making a fanservice character, he says and does crazy and random things so he must be the greatest character ever. Lamar on the other hand rarely does things of note yet still manages to come off as interesting, deep and hilarious with just the way he acts and reacts. I understand why people like him, and i like him too but there are far better reasons to like a character than "he does bad ass things and says funny stuff" which is pretty much the main reason of the majority of people who like him. He also seems to me like he is a wannabe gangbanger and tries way too hard with everything, which is what ruins him for me. M favorite character happens to be Wade, because he is a hilarious, meth'd out, crazy ICP looking guy. He also has a funny way of talking because of all the piercings. I actually liked Franklin, and could almost relate to him. He was somewhat annoying, but he really grew on me. A guy trying to change his life style, be sucessful and responsible. Having some serious girl issues, by not letting to with that one chick. Having a dumb ass friend who tries to act hard but gets himself in bad situations. Hell, Chop nearly looks exactly like my dog. I related to Franklin. Hell, I used to live in the ghetto part of the city before I moved to the suburbs. REALLLLLLY have to disagree with Jimmy though. I found him to be the most annoying character, actually. I just never got into him. He annoyed me. He did the job well, since that's what the character is there for. But damn. I despise Trevor mostly for killing Johnny , but I understand why some people might like him. Lamar for best character? His delivery was immaculate and it didn't sound cheesy and monotone like some of Franklin's lines. He actually spoke and sounded (not to mention gestured) like a real person.
