Is autoaim going to be avaliable online?

While I wish it was unavailible for online, I think its a safe bet that a majority of the servers will be sporting it, I just hope that we have the option to play on servers with zero autoaim crap.

 

Also hopeful that free aim servers will have certain rep/cash bonuses for missions to make up for the difficulty diffrence.

Any of you guys still playing with the default (Traditional GTA) or auto-aim features on. I recommend you give manual/free-aim a try.

 

Its becomes a different game, even in SP. I promise you. No more falling asleep in missions, and accidentally aiming at your friends instead of driver's windshields.

I hope so. I play with the auto aim on offline because I find it more enjoyable, but when online comes I hope it's off. I mean I wouldn't mind if it was on when targeting AI, but off for real people.

If there is no option to choose a Hard server like in RDR (So auto-aim is disabled) I will be greatly disappointed because I'm not a fan of being aim-assisted.

Well I dont think there any doubt that auto aim will at the very least be a option, as the player in the online trailer clearly uses it.

 

I REALLY hope we'll be able to have free-aim servers, with appropriate bonuses for not using nuuby shooting mode.

 

Personally I kinda feel you should get very low rewards for either of the auto aim mode.

Althought I free aim, rather than auto aim, I disagree with that statement. Maybe some people can't really get used to the free aim, so auto aim would be better for them. They enabled it off the bat, so you start off with it when GTA SP was released. So I highly disagree that if you use auto aim, the game isn't for you. It's just a matter of what you're comfortable with using.

I hope auto-aim isn't on by default in all servers, what made gta 4 online fun was turning it off so that it actually took a certain amount of skill to kill another player. Being able to snap to someone and merely pull up slightly for the headshot isn't very fun...

In SP auto aim is fine so you can feel boss but against real opponents you need fight with skill therefore freeaim all the way. Auto aim vs real opponents would have no point..who can hit the trigger button the fastest..no skill needed

Autoaim is still challenging in all reality. Brings a bit more challenge when two auto aimers are facing eachother. It's so easy for them, it becomes hard in a shoot off. That's when you really have to use the surronding.

 

In free aim, you could count on someone on being a bad shot. Autoaim? No, they're going to be good. So you need to be better at timing, and knowing the surrondings. Even then, people in the autoaim servers just run right into you anyway. Making easy targets.

Free aim all the way. I wish they dissable the auto aim function. Replace it with stearing sesitivity for driving. I get so mad and sad when i Think of the oppertunitys of this game, and its limits due to missing options. It is a shame, and i hope that it will be improved in future.

Rockstar already stated a LONG time ago that there is auto-aim in Online. There will be two different types of rooms... auto-aim and free-aim(similar to MP3 and RDR).
