I've had the Police Maverick for awhile now & love it. Very stable & pretty fast.

 

According to some, it's not a spotlight that the PM has, rather functional landing lights underneath.

 

However at night it has both low & high beam settings like cars do, thus questioning why they would be just landing lights. I've used it quite alot recently when scouting around the country side, looking for all the different types of animals & they're locations.

Technically it's two small (yet very powerful) lights on the bottom, between where the body & tail meet. However yes they shine downward. Haven't found any way for the camera to work in single player, so I take it that's how it supposed to be.

 

By how the lights work, your comparing it to what other helicopters?

The armed Buzzard has an actual headlight (high & low beams) however they point straight ahead.

Haven't found one on the Frogger helicopter yet.

Never thought about the medical helicopter having a light, I'll check.

You can save the PM (or medic variant) at the Helipad that you can purchase.

 

- Switching to a helicopter you've bought though will remove it from the Helipad forever, so you'd have to get a new police helicotper if you want one.

 

- Good news is that if you take it somewhere & lose it (or it's destroyed somehow) a new one will spawn at your Helipad, granted it was the one you took from the there before.

So it's a free replacement!

Yeah, I was comparing the Police Maverick to other helicopters, as in, would the downward spotlight be exclusive to it, but in your answer I can see you've clearly confirmed that, thank you.

I know the hook on the Cargobob is usable, all that is needed to know now is the location of the Skylift and Annihilator, if the cargobob can lift vehicles, then I'm pretty sure the Skylift can to, IF FOUND.

EDIT: Just saw your recent post, mostly everyone knows that the saving vehicles is glitched until repaired by R*, however, that is a nice find.
