Stocks, LCN & BAWSAQ Assassination trick confusion.

If LCN is Single player and BAWSAQ is online collectively from everyone, then why is it when playing Single player assassination missions everyone tells you to invest in Beta Pharmasuticals and iFruit? both of those are on BAWSAQ which is online, kinda confused how 1 out of 1,000,000 people influencing the online stock will make you 100+ millions according to many.

PS: Am I crazy for wanting to start over just to take advantage of the Assassination missions stock thing? Each of my guys are sitting at about 28 million. Kinda wish I had more like 200 million :(

This is a question I have wanted to ask to. An answer would be very helpful.

And no your not crazy. I have started again. Since there is not other way to make big money its your only option

Yeah I'm starting over. that said I am keeping my other save game, just this one is going to be one where I make more money.

PS: is there any other missions other than the four assassination ones that you can make an incredible amount of money or not really?

None that are really worthwhile. Upon completing the story you will have the largest amount of money anyway so just invest all of it into the appropriate stocks during the assassination missions (which you will leave to last). Then enjoy spending on the properties and vehicles.

Money making any other way doesn't work. Surely they did not intend for it to be so hard to earn cash

Thanks for the information I'm not usually one to complain but I must say doing everything and not really spending much finishing off with 30 million doesn't leave you with too many options to rack up a couple of hundred million so that you can buy other properties :p

Dude, it doesn't go LCN = sp, and BAWSAQ = mp...

Both LCN and BAWSAQ are just spoofs of the two major American stock exchanges (NYSE and NASDAQ) -- both exchanges list different companies to invest in. NASDAQ is popular for listing big technology companies, while NYSE lists a lot of old, established, industrial companies.

Again, it's not like one exchange is only available in sp, while the other is only available in mp... where do you read that?

Hmm, you can double your money with the stocks on the assassin missions but, at that point in the game, they don't really have much money anyway, so even if you invest all the characters money, you're not going to make a massive amount.

So yeah if you had 500k you'd reap a million, but...it's really not worth starting the game over for.

You are misunderstanding what we are saying. You can (and should) leave the assassination missions until you have completed the story. You will then have 20-30 million to start investing

BAWSAQ is off-line if you don't have an Internet connection I just tried it like 10 times to confirm

Plus when you click on it it tells you that it's powered by rock stars social club media.

Lester missions and their outcomes supercede the online market when it comes to BAWSAQ. In otherwords, just treat BAWSAQ as if it was the offline LCN when doing the assassination missions. However, the stocks will by influenced by other players when doing anything outside of those missions.

28 million? How my guys are still broke!

Questions why is the stocks different for Michael and franklin shouldn't they look the same ?

Also is it not possible for Michael and Trevor to benefit from the assassination missions ?

Don't do the assassination missions. Crack on with the rest of the story, and you'll build up your fortune.

I think Mike and Trevor can benefit. You just need to buy stocks in the aforementioned rival company, switch to Franklin and complete the assassination, then sell shares for all three characters. Rinse, repeat for all assassinations.

But I tried and the same stocks have different results for each character very weird. How long do you guys wait to sell the stocks after y do the mission before it drops??

For me the stocks only went as high as 25% - 28% profit before going down again.

i wish rockstar would provide some official documentation on the stocks. Im disappointed with the strategy guiide also. Im glad i got it for a bargain on amazon. It gives no details on the stock. It leaves a lot of stuff out imo. I dont want it for walktroughs i want it more for those kind of details.

The BAWSAQ (BALLSACK) is the worst feature I've seen from Rockstar in a long time... possibly ever. The moment I realized that the assassination missions were tied to it and I couldn't access it was one of those classic gamer moments where you would sell your soul to get your hands on the person who thought of such a moronic, sh*t for brains gimmick.

To be blunt (I hope someone from the company sees this) Rockstar is f*cking pitiful when it comes to multiplayer anything. They should hire me as a consultant because I would have warned them about the potential downfalls of combining their sh*tty grasp of online mechanics with their excellent, established track record of great single-player gameplay. PLEASE fix this - take down the servers and player influence and keep single player and the online features SEPARATE.

To summarize, this is the kind of thing that shouldn't even have to be discussed... WTF are players going to buy besides guns anyways?? Online stock exchange = stupid.
