Please respond if you find a vehicle in these categories that may be modified. Categories probably going to be added: Utility, Industrial, Commercial, and Service. Off-road: BF Dune Buggy Nagasaki Blazer (4-wheel ATV) Vans: Brute Camper (Motorhome/RV/Caravan) Zirconium Journey (Motorhome/RV/Caravan) Taco Van Declasse Burrito (Bugstars Van) Utility: Towtruck (Newer Model, older Truck is able to be modified) Caddy (Golf Cart) Utility Truck Ripley (airport vehicle) Stanley Fieldmaster (Big Farm Tractor) Tractor (Rusted) Industrial: JoBuilt Rubble (Trailer Truck loaded with rocks, etc.) HVY Mixer (Cement Truck) MTL Flatbed (Truck) Commercial: JoBuilt Phantom (Semi-Trailer Truck) Brute Stockade (Gruppe 6 Armored Truck) Vapid Benson Maibatsu Mule Service: Dashhound (Bus) Airport Bus Rental Shuttle Bus Trashmaster Unknown Category: Lost and Damned Van These vehicles can only be Repaired (no modifications available): Vans: Bravado Rumpo (Weazel News Van) Service: Taxi Comments: I'm tired of getting excited about souping up a vehicle and driving up to LS customs only to be told to "f*ck off" in polite white block text. Lets start a list we can reference so we don't all waste hours driving cars to the relatively few mod shops just to be disappointed. Some of the cooler buggies can't be modded much either. I started this thread because some of the Trucks would make quite strong getaway cars if they only had a bit more power, but they are unable to be modified. Pretty annoying. Yes, you can modify sherrifs granger at LSC that Franklin owns\can buy. Lol, what? You can't buy a Sheriff Granger, or any police vehicle for that matter. And taking the Sheriff Granger to LSC has been patched a long time ago...Months ago... The only way to mod ANY police vehicle is with a save editor, which of course, I am using. Only 5 police vehicles out of 14 can get engine upgrades...Police Cruiser, Sheriff Cruiser, Unmarked Cruiser, Police Buffalo, and Police Interceptor. Of course, though, only on a save editor. First of all I never said you can buy a police Granger.And second, I never connected my gta v on internet coz I have only 5GB limit so I didn't knew it was patched my bad sorry. The editor, no matter what version is on, will automatically update to the latest version upon opening it up. So if you download this version, it updates to the latest version. Any large vehicle, essentially can't be modded. Hauler and Packer are huge, so no, they can't be modded unless on a save editor. The game is piss poor with modding vehicles imo, hence the reason I use the save editor. I don't even use it for anything else but modding unmoddable vehicles due to Rockstar's stupid logic on not allowing this when it should be aloud... There is a both which travel around Los Santos at night, and at night in Strawberry from 8 PM until 7 AM you can get the Police Bike, Police Transporter, Unmarked Cruiser, and Police Buffalo. And I don't think any police vehicle can even enter LSC at all, for any reason... can you mod the cop vehicles with the IFruit app? No. These vehicles are completely unmoddable, unless you use the Hazard Save Editor. Pretty nice. Not really a fan of those colors, though. I kept my Police Buffalo stock colors and also stock wheels, but made them Bulletproof of course. My Police Buffalo also has a tiny spoiler on the back, which I will be removing one of these days as I don't like the spoilers. In general, I prefer the FIB Buffalo to the Police Buffalo. Also, the Police Buffalo not only can change the color, give armor upgrade, and get BP tires. You can also do the engine upgrades, transmission, suspension, turbo, limo window tint, and Xenon lights, etc...
