My car was in the safehouse garage of franklin's aunts house, after the diamond heist in the beginning of the game Franklin & Michael go into hiding, after they are play-able again Franklin will have a mission from lester on the beach, he'll send you to a hotel to assassinate some1, after the mission he'll call you & tell you that him & Michael have bought you a new house, making franklin's aunts nolonger your safehouse & an unusable garage, so whatever car you had in the garage will be gone, I suggest not keeping cars you put $ into in safehouse garages... derby0187 Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 ive lost a lot of cars that I put money into and wanted to keep. its something I hope they fix or its designed that way. im not sure.if its designed that way then it realy sucks. far as I know the custom options you pay for that type of car stay unlocked but you have to get the car again and do it over. I hate to say this but saints row had and awesome way of keeping your cars after you steal them or customized them. I don't see no point on stealing cars,planes ,helicopters ,etc . if your just going to lose them.i mean isn't this one of the main parts of the game is stealing? Selwood24 Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 Same thing happened to me, had a sick Sultan RS in Franklin's old crib and now its gone, but that hasn't really pissed me off, whats pissed me off is that cars you buy and customize just disappear, they need to patch this quick. Bought a $30,000 car and customized it, so I spent about $40,000 + on it, I parked it at Trevor's LS Safehouse, which I know isn't a garage but should still f*ckin save a car, and it's just gone grrrrrr. I had a 140, 000$ car the Vacca or whatever, and customized it, but lost it, this is what u do if you want your car back... go to the car impound lot, marked on map, , If you leave a car on the street and steal another one or if you crash it or get killed / arrested your car will be impounded, it cost 250 $ to get it back, , I got back my motorcycle and a few cars I stole but my most expensive car was not there. not sure if it's a bug or what, also the impound lot will only show up on map If you have a car available to pick up from impound lot, if there are no cars impounded the icon will not be there Edited September 23, 2013 by Kai-Ten- Freedom035 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kai-Ten- Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 I still Havnt got my 140,000 $ car back, my others were at the impound lot but I have no idea what happened to my best car, so be careful with your cars, ive read that's there is a bug, if you buy a car it supposed to be yours forever, the only place it goes is to the impound lot, then you get it back, but I've not only read that's there is a bug/ glitch that makes your car disappear but also I read that if you leave your car in the impound lot for to long it will disappear, not sure if that's true or not, I picked up 1 car I bought and 3 cars I stolethat were at the impound but my best car was not there, it would of been the 5th so maybe you can only have 4 cars impounded and when a 5th gets impound the 1st car sent there you lose, not really sure, but I'm glad I helped some of you get your cars back..
