GTA V PS3 PROBLEM

Hi, I have lags all over the city duting the day time, I've got 140GB free so theres no problem about the HDD. I've bought this PS3 2 years ago, it's the slim one.

Does someone know what's causing this issue? and if theres any solutions?

My PS3 is 2 years old also and iv got roughly the same amount of free space as yourself. Pretty much every issue im having is perfectly described here in this article about the Lag/Texture issues on the DIGITAL PS3 edition. Im thining maybe not enough people have been vocal to Rockstar about the Lag & Texture issues on the Physcial format of the game because every issue im reading about in this article is what i have experienced in some form.I thought maybe it was an HDD issue but im experiencing the Lag at the same times (daytime driving on freeways and out in the country. I find slowing down my driving seems to help with this) and the textures too. (Again,when driving fast on freeways but the texture issues are mainly confined to the missions and the lag is confined to free play). I really hope Rockstar can deal with this as it does their game ZERO justice. What is a beautifully textured game suddenly looks like its still in pre production phases. Its re-assuring to know im not the only one experiencing this... or i WOULD be blaming my HDD lol. Cheers
