rudemario Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 After unlocking the parachute in Ammu-Nation, I go up to the counter, buy a parachute, select a color and smoke, and go test it out. Then, after jumping out of the aircraft and pulling the chute, the chute is always a different color, from what I purchased, but not the smoke! The smoke is always what I bought. I have done numerous tests as to why this occurs. I have unlocked the ability to auto-equip parachutes from helicopters and planes, so maybe this is the conflict? The plane/helicopter is giving me another parachute with random settings? So, I decided to get a Frogger from one of my garages, fly to the Ammu-Nation, get out, with the parachute that the helicopter gave me, override the colors and smoke on it, get back in, then give it a try, but it still doesn't work! I thought that maybe a helicopter woudn't give you another chute if it already gave you one, and you still had it. This is very frustrating, and it also leads into another one of my complaints/bug reports. I go online to order a bike from the pedal to the metal website, I click on the blue tri-cycles bike, and then go check my garage. When the bike is delivered to me, It's just the green wippet bike. This is frustrating, as I dislike the neon green bright color of the bike, and this goes for the red bike too, the only one that seems purchasable in the mountainbike series is the green wippet bike D: It almost feels to me as if rockstar were rushed to release the game, or sent it out without enough polish, or were unaware of the bugs, because back last year I remember them announcing a spring 2013 release, and then them pushing it back to a fall semptember release. I guess they didn't want to push it back again? I hope this gets resolved, but in the meantime, does anyone know of a fix? Pretty sure it just means the same thing happens to them, and that the Bump thing gets more attention drawn to it from members. Especially those who are frustrated at the game for this issue, such as the original poster was/is. Now. If you are playing on X360, I don't know what to tell you, but for me (and I'm not going to lie, I'm an exploiter) on the PS3, i've found that if you actually purchase the greenish-yellow one first, THEN purchase the others, you should be fine. xenorama Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 I have tested this by buying a parachute in the color I want, driving to the construction site, and jumping off one of the cranes. The chute is always random colors, always. It seems to be one of those things that Rockstar needs to address, but first someone has to notify them of it.
