Anyone find the Crosshair Difficult to See?

When free aiming it sometimes gets you killed as you can't see it in time. And as it's white when you have a gun with a flashlight on you're completely blind and just shoot in the general direction.

I don't want to use no auto aim stuff though, that's too easy but dam this crosshair gets annoying. Complex isn't that great either. I think they should have made it a red colour, it won't blend in that much then.

I dont have it yet but I see what you are talking about, i am worried it would be hard to see.

But since Red Dead Redemption has a similar crosshair and i managed to see that just fine, i think it would be a similar thing to gta V

BTW, since you use free aim I am wondering can you shoot from the hip? you know, run and gun like in Max Payne 3? Out of all the gta V videos i have seen, i never saw anyone shoot from the hip, they always lock on. Only time i saw any run and gun gameplay was in the gameplay trailers.

You can't run and gun. The character just aims if you only press the trigger while moving.

the default is rubbish like it was in max payne 3. complex is fine, if you can't see that you need glasses.

Yeah, but it looks out of place the complex one I find.

This has already been discussed to death. Yes, the crosshairs are near impossible to see. Even with Complex on, several of the weapons such as the grenade just give you a little white dot. I'm sure R* will fix this once they get back from spending the $1 billion they made.

RDR's was a bit bigger and not as hard to see. I would prefer the dot and only the dot like RDR but it isn't viable in GTA. The dot is sooooooooooooooo small it is literally like one pixel lol.

Yes you can, but not completely like MP3. When you pull out your gun you do not have a crosshair, but once you shoot you do and can hip fire and move all you want but once you stop shooting for like 2 seconds the crosshair goes away and he returns the gun to its normal position.

Would love to see a Customize-Option for Crosshairs in Options.

Like being able to choose from three different Crosshairs per Weapon Cathegory, and choosing between three different colors as well (white, red, green) etc

Actually you can slightly hold down R2/RT and it'll bring up the crosshair without firing. It makes it somewhat easier to aim.

You can run and gun by pressing R2 without aiming. The crosshair gets easier just keep at it.......I don't like running around with a big ass crosshair but thats on you.

Its way too small. I have absolutely no idea why they did not keep the size of RDR. The dot had the perfect size...

I dont know how people with SD TV want to see that one pixel

You can run and gun, you just don't aim/lock on, and when you shoot, the character automatically just shoots, and they will still aim and the reticule will come. They have more stuff to do when you aim, like zoom in a little extra and lean in, which is a nice touch. My only things that I would like to be added to this game at the moment, is the ability to crouch, and switch shoulders when aiming/firing. Add these in, and the gun gameplay will be so much better.
