I stopped on the floor below to the roof and got close to a wall and got out, taking cover behind my car. The cops swarmed me, took vantage points on the building behind me and rappelled onto the roof out of a helicopter. So much more challenging and entertaining than GTA IV. I was impressed. I didn't like the fact that within a certain radius cops would always know where you are. It makes much more sense to being able to break the line of sight, switch cars, hide in sidestreets etc., makes the chases and escapes much more fun. The annoying thing for me is how easily you can get one star in places and how these escalate into two stars for simply evading the police and not committing more offences. There was a member of the public on the side of the road watching me when a deer ran out on the road and I killed it. I couldn't avoid it even if I tried yet this member of the public reported me, I got one star which quickly escalated to two just for running over a deer. Seems a bit stupid. The example the OP put is a huge positive, as well as the line of sight thing its a MASSIVE improvement on past GTA's. Still room for improvement though; earlier I stopped behind some cars but then got rammed by a cop car who was chasing some other guy. He hit me, yet I got a wanted level.
