The cops are ridiculous.

They kinda made the cops overly sensitive now. Stupid stuff like walking can get you wanted and at the same time they can detect you murder someone in the woods with no witnesses. It really gets annoying when stupid stuff that shouldn't get me wanted gives me a wanted level. Sometimes my wanted level will randomly jump from 1 start to 2 despite doing nothing else during the police chase. For example, I get out on foot and run away not shooting or hitting anyone else. I hide but get spotted. Whoops 2 stars!

 

 

Also, what happened to the police arresting people? In GTA IV it was good fun to get other people in trouble and see them taken away or to provoke them into getting the police to shoot. Now they just open fire.

 

 

I've never had an issue with this. If I used a silened weapon I can kill a couple of people no problem, especially with stealth. Heck, if I stealth, I can kill people in the city without getting a wanted level.

Well you're either bullshïtting or just lucky.

 

I've surpressed every possible weapon I could yet that still does not help. I remember standing behind one lone person just a few football fields south of Sandy Shores. I did a stealthy kill with my surpressed SMG. Well, nobody was around but I got a wanted level. How in the f*ck is that possible.

 

I've done shootouts(yes shootouts) in IV and the cops did not come, and when they did, I evaded the area and watched them drive pass me and stop at the crime scene. I hate it when people say what happens in V is realistic. No, it is not. I'm pretty sure lots of shooting have yet to be reported right now.

 

And here is my proof that the cops are dicks who arrest you for now reason:

I was in the airport train station and stood by a wall away from everyone, as Franklin. I went on my phone to check my sky rocketing stocks for Twinkle. Satisfied, I exited my phone and left my character standing where he was. I went downstairs for 5 minutes. I came back up and I was standing in front of some police station, weapons gone, and my stocks f*cked up. I had to restart.

 

Honestly, cops like that aren't fun, what f*cking idiot at Rockstar thought it would be fun to have cops like that. I prefer the cops in IV, even if they're stupid yet know where you are most the time; at least its better than V's system. How they could f*ck up this system and then overlook it is beyond me. I think the standards at this companies studios have been lowered severly.

Most of the times you get a 3-star wanted level for stealth-killing a Police Officer is because there are witness or Security Cameras nearby.

 

Once I was able to knock out a cop in an alley and steal his car without ever drawing attention in the first place.

This game gives you a wanted level by chance, if you kill someone in the middle of the desert then you will have like a 50% chance of getting 1 star (excluding witnesses). If you kill a cop in stealth mode you would have a 90% chance of getting 3 stars and etc. It's kind of a cheap system these days...

Post a vid of where you are in the middle of nowhere and snipe 3 or more people with silenced weapons and prove that you don't get a wanted level. We must have different versions of games if that's the case. I can never snipe more than 2 or 3 people with silences weapons in the forest without getting a wanted level.

 

I've never gotten a warning level without actually doing something but I do have this to say about the reduced police presences.

 

I love it. Cops aren't EVERYWHERE and it feels a lot better. Last night I was playing the game and som ped was talking sh*t so I kicked his ass. Somebody called the cops and I ran away from the scene with police sirens blaring in the distance and the cops never even saw me. It was awesome BUT the cops are way too trigger happy. I got arrested on purpose once to see how it works (same as before) but it took three tries. The other two tries they shot me on sight.

 

I doubt the sirens were for you. If someone calls the police, you IMMEDIATELY get a wanted level. You get this level as soon as the phone call is made, NOT when the cops decide to show up.
