I'd imagine that when I wake up Tuesday morning and switch my consoles on, I'll be able to get my GTA Online on. Here's hoping...

You will know because you will be asked to confirm the update for your game. The thing I'm not sure about is whether the update will stop you from playing the game while you are playing it. There is the Social Club notification box above the minimap, so it could be announced that way if you are already in game.

Without a source I can't believe this to be true. Why would they release the most anticipated feature when most people are home and playing? No one is that confident in their servers on launch day.

This is how rumors start. Even if his post was true, where the hell did you get 12pm from? Evening starts at 6pm+.

Well if a time isn't posted officially yet, I imagine it will be up in the morning tomorrow. I don't think they would have it in the evening or late part of the day for a launch time. That wouldn't make sense. It would just aggravate a lot of people. They set a date and I'm sure they plan to "try" to please everyone by releasing availability by a reasonable time.

 

The day before release with no exact time set. I don't think they want to give an exact hour, just in case. I'm just guessing here.

I am hoping it goes live at midnight. I have to be up at 10am, and work until about 10pm. Lucky I have off Weds, so I have all night to play. With work, getting ready for some other things and NBA 2k14, my GTAO time will be limited.

I'm expecting 12am for Great Britain, seeing as how Rockstar are a Scottish company :p

Wrong Rockstar are owned by 2 Englishmen however Rockstar North is ran and based in Scotland. Either way the time remains the same though yeah haha but the Housers live in NY

Hi everyone,

 

So after reading alot of forums and websites about the release of GTA V online

, a lot of people seems to be confused by all of the rumors out there. So I will share

what I know : ). According to this website (link a the bottom of the post) Austrilia will not have GTA V online until October 2 and the hour of the release will be on a America's times zones. So assuming that rockstar launch simultaneously all the servers around the world , we will probably not see the online mode until 5-6 PM PST on October first.

 

P.S. Sorry for my bad english its not my primary language :)

It'll probably be early morning (say 10am) UK time, so that if there's any issues they won't have to be working through the night to fix them.

I was SOOOOO hoping I could just hop online as soon as I get home tomorrow. I'm still waiting on R* to make it official though. With them not even making a peep about it yet, I'm not sure I'll be playing as soon as I had hoped.

What? Are you 28 years old and rushing a test to get home from school early to play a f*cking game? Do what you have to and get home to play later man.
