In the beginning I was being a dumb f*ck and complaining, but oh my gosh, this game is amazingly and exponentially getting better. I'm starting to see how near-perfect the driving is. The driving is almost like out of a hollywood-movie. Also if you play on a 50+ Inch HDMI TV with dolby digital, it is literally HEAVEN. This is theeee best game Ive ever played in my life, and its coming from someone who though gta v sucked in the beginning. It deserves a 10/10 on gamespot just like IGN The graphics are better than ps4 games that are coming out like the division, watch dogs etc... You just need to have HDMI plus surround sound. Best thing I can compare it to is beer - at first, you hate it so much, but after you get used to it, you love it, almost even crave it sometimes. That's how the driving is. I remember playing the first repo mission with Franklin and being worried that the driving was weird. Now I genuinely love it. DrandonBavis Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 I've been playing video games since I was 2 years old. 17 years later I can easily say this is the best game I've ever played (and gta online hasn't even started yet, which will amazingly be even better than story mode)... The first hour I played, I literally laughed my ass off 20 times. I remember the repo mission, where we got our first look at the city. It was so beautiful, unlike anything ever seen before. This game is so pretty, hilarious, huge, packed with so many retarded things to do and weirdos to meet, and the attention to detail is the best I've ever seen in a video game. This is the only game ever made that completely defines a generation of consoles. It sums up 360/PS3 perfectly and pushes them to the limit. Most games of the next generation won't even be this good the first year they come out... Can you even imagine the next gta on the next gen? I just unlocked Trevor today and he gave me a lot of goosebumps because of his psychopathy. I also LOVE his lines, I'd reckon one of his lines at the beginning is the best i've ever heard. The physics are incredible and and the damage detail is insanely better than gta iv... After playing GTA V, it makes gta iv look like a sh*tty demo of some crap game. In GTA V its literally a 50 mile playground.. It takes so long just to drive to different places and each and every place is detailed as f*ck... I tried doing different things, like crash landing a 747 without landing gear on the beach and it was f*cking amazing, the plane skid across the sand and slammed into the water without exploding.. Then I flew the shamal and crash landed that into a crop/vineyard field in grapeseed... You can see the wing come off and when you get out of the plane you can hit it and it dents in the precise location where you hit etc.. Theres so many small details, like when you're wet and walk on sand you can see the water sogging up the sand under your feet. Then The lighting and graphics in the game are just stunning, its so clear, bright, and the lighting/colors are perfect it looks like real life almost. All the controls are very responsive the entire game just feels like a perfectly responsive playground of do-anything-you-want. The possibilities are endless.. You can even have a shootout with cops from the window of your safehouse... The missions are of shockingly amazing quality. The cutscenes and all of that are basically incorporated into the gameplay, so when you start a mission, it goes directly from the cutscene to the gameplay fluidly which shows how great the graphics really are. Theres so many things in missions, from picking up containers, to shooting clowns/aliens, to stealing cargo planes midair and jumping off a jeep/parachuting, to tow truck missions, to stealing movie-set cars... etc.. its too fun its almost too good.
