UPDATE

Im still having some issues with people joining into GTA online. I wanna hold back a few more days to see if this clears up. Hi guys so with GTA V finally here. I wanted to see who all would be interested in doing a demo derby.



The first event would be hosted on Oct 1st at 6pm est. Followed by a series of events that weekend.



These would be the classes.



1.) Sedan/Compact/Dunebuggy.

2.) SUV/Pickup truck/Van.

3.) Sports car.

4.) American Muscle.

5.) Commercial truck.

6.) Commercial equipment.

7.) Free for all.



These would be the rules.



1.)No firearms.

2.)Glass/lights must be broken or shot out. (Except for free for all class.)

3.) When your vehicle no longer moves you must remain inside the vehicle. Unless it is on fire then you must exit the car and get to a safe area until the event it completed.

4.) If your vehicle stalls you may try to restart it.

5.) Headset preferred if you do not have one you will be required to join a text chat on ps3.

6.) Last car running is the winner of that class.

7.) Event starts when the leader sounds there horn 3 times. As well as counting down over headset.

I think your idea is right, but your structure to the event is wrong. You should not restrict the way people play the derby by saying no head on collisions or hitting the driver side door.

 

And with the car class idea, should also not be in there. Players should choose which vehicle they would like to derby in.

 

Just a thought.

Yo, I'm absolutely interested in participating in this. My crew is down. I was just about to post a topic on this (haha too funny). Count The LeAristocrats in I think it's an awesome idea.

 

Also, I'll be buying a capture kit in the next two weeks and would be interested in helping you host this on PS3.

Only reason i have vehicle classes is because i've had way to many demo derbies ruined in gta iv by people using a semi against a blista compact. People complained and events were ruined. As for rules i will be removing a couple but i still want to keep classes somewhat. There is a free for all class for the hell of it.
