GTA V aint realistic as GTA IV

GTA Master 007

GTA Master 007

Not like its a bad thing, but this is where gta iv was more realistic:

Car physics

Car damage

Parachuting

City lights

The night

Textures of roads

police cars

Helicopter controls

GTA San Andreas has more realistic plane physics than gta v

GTA V to me, is the most unrealistic gta ever and the most different of all. What else can you tell that's not realistic as previous gta's?

Trolling about the graphics? GTA V roads look beautiful and they actually got how the lines are supposed to be colored right. But the physics, yeah...

I thought thats why we "hated" IV? Lol.

I've stated this numerous times, and I'm met with derision each and every time because of it. I find it highly ironic that GTA IV was nearly universally panned for its realism, yet now there are many (most likely those who were introduced to the series via said title) who bemoan the fact that GTA V has taken a turn for, in my opinion, the better, merging realism with a sense of outlandishness.

Boggles the mind.

So you want, in essence, to trade places with Stevie Wonder for the evening?

Kids have to find something to complain about no matter what... Instead of focusing on the good stuff they focus on the stuff that isn't good pointing them out (sometimes people don't even notice them until some kid whines about it)

Sad but true

Yeah if this is considered a problem then you're really clutching at straws. Forget how brilliant the sunset looks, forget how the car lights and building illuminations look realistic (whereas in IV the cars were moving lights that turned out to not actually be the cars when you got closer), forget the amazing graphics they've given us - because Blaine County is blue instead of black! Damn Rockstar should've given EA the rights to this game!

Would of made a huge different if it was black

Car physics - Really, have you ever even driven a car? every car in GTA IV handled like the general lee.
Car damage - Really hood and bumpers flying of the cars from minor impacts? no wheels getting locked, axles not breaking, again no gta IV wasnt realistic.
Parachuting - Wtf? TBOGT parachuting was horrible, it was a clunky and clearly a after thought, the parachuting in gta V is far superior, and not any less realistic.
City lights - Im gueesing you are a hermit who have never seen a city before? Liberty City looked more like gotham city then a real city, very dark and grey.
The night - Just no, take of your nostalgia goggles.
Textures of roads - textures of roads really? 1 single shared texture across a entire city is more realistic? you drunk brah.
police cars - AI that just mindlessly smashes into you and knows where you are without seeing you? yeah definatly more realistic... *trollface*.
Helicopter controls - I loved gta IV helicopters, but overall the controls are the same, only diffrence is you now have to deal with some turbulence, l2p ;)

I felt the GTA IV helicopter controls were far too easy. I love that turbulence has been added, plus I think people are exaggerating a bit. Before I'd flown a heli I was reading people's opinions on how sh*t heli flying was, only to found its exactly the same as IV but with some minor wobbling.

I can roll any car onto its roof and then just push the joystick to flip it onto its wheels from a stationary position.

If I'm on the roof I shouldn't be able to flip it back, it was okay in IV were you could just roll it from its side onto its wheels only.

There's a massive difference between Michael flying a chopper and Trevor flying one.

Michael is far more unstable.

I've flown it with all three, not found it as bad as people seem to be making out.

Was in every GTA game except IV. Deal with that GTA is supposed to be arcade game.

GTA IV was an experiment in many ways.

Realism is boring. Go play MS Flight or ARMA 3 if you want boring as fck simulator games.

That was fine in the very Arcady 3D era, but IV was a step away from all that.

It was fun using the momentum of your roll to get the car back on all fours but to be able to do it from stationary just removes immersion completely.

This was supposed to be an extremely immersive game, but alot of things break that immersion.

GTA V has improved in everything you just listed motherf*cker. You're just too dumb to figure it out. The roads are realistic and it looks how it looks in LA. They oculdve made the roads look fancy and clean if they wanted too but they wanted it realistic..

The driving mechanics are wayyy better, you need to play it more...

Car damage IS better, but the only thing you may think is that the damage doesnt happen easier. But over time, the damage is actually much better than in GTA IV. GTA IV didn't have nearly as many parts falling off or a wide range of mechanical issues when you crash. GTA V has so many different crash possibilities and rockstar didnt want cars to get damaged that easily so they made it gradual over time, but in the end its wayyyyyyyy better than GTA IV.

Police cars are WAY f*ckING MORE REALISTIC THAN GTA IV?

Im guessing you play on a 1 inch sd sh*t tv? if you have a good tv you will see how much better gta v is than gta iv.
