Disappointing Pedestrians

I love the game play all in all, it's just that i expected more from the peds. I saw in the trailers that peds staring at buff joggers, hikers holding hands, dealers selling and even read in an article that they have their own lives that when we follow them we can see what will they do afterwards. Although i saw some improvements but not that awesome.

I've had some really nice experience with them, like when a ped shot a cop and a cop slammed into my f*cking just finished lambo... Causing me then to get shot in the cross fire. This is a major step up from GTA IV. Also I've followed some peds and they have some interesting life's, so I will confirm that this can be done.

Thanks for that, although i tried following them but after like 30 seconds they brisk walk like i'm some kind of a creep and some turns around and go for a fist fight. The cops in GTA IV can also arrest peds and put them inside their cars here in GTA V they always shoot each other never seen one surrender.

They never cuff em and put them in a car. Another downgrade.

I find the pedestrians fascinating. A good example is when i flew a heli to the top of the mountain. The peds were dressed like mountain climbers and were walking around checking out the view, and reading an info board.

 

I've not tried to follow one yet, must do that next time im playing.

Might have to try that, love some new additions when i was on the beach and staring at this girl with a buff guy. He threatened me that he will call the police and eventually he did so i gave him a smack to the face and another one i crowbared the face of a man then this guy is walking away from and then i tried to catch up on him then he suddenly ran while he call the police in his phone then BAM 1 star. It's fascinating sometimes but i expected more hopefully some patches will give us more response from peds.

I've also noticed pedestrians getting their camera phones out when i break into vehicles. Gotta get away before they have a chance to get a good photo!

 

Subtle behaviors like that making the game so much more interesting.

never saw couples in GTA V, as i remember if it was in GTA SA or IV, couples hold hands while walking, something like this feels more immersive and they took it out. I don't wanna sound like i wanna play the Sims but they already had it on past games and even on the trailer so why took it out.

Now that I think about it, I never see any peds surrenduring to the police either. They always get in a shootout.. no arrests? I miss some of the things from GTA IV

in GTA IV when you point a gun on some they raise their hands and talk to you like begging or something, here they just run away. although i really don't know what will i do if a get a gun on my face. combining the 2 reactions might be good, some peds will raise their hands and others will just run or raise hand then back away then run. those little things could add more to the experience
