So we agree that lack of interiors is the main issue of gta 5 ?

Whereas opinions on car control and damage seem divided I believe almost everyone unanimously agree that they expected way more interiors for such a big map. I wonder why R didn't just put in more interiors like airports, casino, stadium, observatory centre, nightclubs.. Surely someone out of the 300 R* employees must have noted the lack of interiors and predicted the negativity it would cause amongst fans.

I hope Rockstar will pick this up and release a patch

Not everyone can be happy with a game

If you wanted more interiors, then graphics would have to take a dive

Consoles hold back games due to old hardware

There has to be a balance to make game playable, GTA V pushes the current systems to the max with the scope it has

The game is a huge achievement considering what hardware it's running on

I like how people think it's just as simple as pressing a button to make more interiors. Believe it or not; it takes time, effort, disc space, and money to create new parts of a game. It's not something that can just be patched. It's possible we might see more interiors as DLC or in GTA Online. But Rockstar obviously did as much as they could with the single player. Personally I'd rather take fewer, more high quality detailed interiors over a ton of boring empty ones. Just be glad with what we have, which is an amazing game that is nearly flawless in almost every way.

sure it's the MAIN, but not the only

^well we were promised "the most interiors of any gta"

which it could be..... by one or two.

Actually it is as simple as a press of a button. They made tons of interiors for missions, only to block them off for free roam. I wonder which f*cking genius at cockstar decided it would be a good idea to block them? One line of code could unlock each of these doors for the interiors in a patch.

My little homie g, can you see? These will probably be only a mere fraction of what ends up available often in GTA Online :D

Deathmatches in this one, housing for that one, clubhouse for this, and so on. All speculation.

Imagine what other uses there are to them later in the game's content course.

You don't think Rockstar is just going to abandoned "passes" and "seasons" mentality of modern game development, right?

Imagine what is still in store, for each bit you are getting an adequate taste of now.

Surely there is sweet stuff in the future for GTA V :^:

Well GTA4 was stated before release as having a good amount of interiors and 5 was stated as having a good amount as well. I think peoples main complaint is buying a property and it not being enterable and I understand that. Why buy something if you cant enter it? It just adds another element to the game. It dosent ruin it for me but I'd of liked to see more.

I just don't get why everyones saying GTAOnline will have a ton of interiors thats more a guess than a fact. If thats based off having safehouses than i guess yea it will have more interiors.

I think the delay had a lot to do w/ it, didnt houser say there was a lot of interiors in that game informer interview when spring was the release target

The thing is, it's GTA IV again, there ARE interiors, but they are locked???? Teqi-La-La for example is available briefly in a side mission and it's a fully detailed interior.

I don't know what everyone was expecting. Gta IV didn't have many interiors.

yeah exactly don't know what's all the complaining about that... besides putting interiors just for the sake of it would be stupid, what's the point, they are pretty but they are useless...

The same could be said about GTA III, but years of development allowed for more interiors in the proceding games. GTA IV was just the start on this generation, V should have been an improvement and expansion.

If you want interiors you should play real life! *grin*

But no seriously, its completly unrealistic to expect a majority of the buildings to have interior, and its not like they actually need a interior because there is no reason for entering them (yet).

Personally I am gueesing we'll see alot more interiors in Online as there are many more missions, as such a bigger need for them, not to mention the player housing and such.

Honestly if "lack" of interiors is the main issue to you, then it sounds like you got a pretty close to flawless game considering the need to nitpick.

ok so in online there will be all the interiors that have been used in the campaign open not just the ones that are open all the time, also they will have others open.

I agree with this, this is the biggest disappointment with GTA so far. I was especially shocked they didn't make an enterable airport terminal. So many buildings could have been made with an interior without too much extra work. It really adds to the realism / living active city factor.

If this game had more interiors, it would just be enormous and a waste, especially for online, running from inner building to inner building over and over. Would take ages to catch someone.

I agree it is one of the problems, but not a big one. A proper interior for the airport and a mall would have sufficed very nicely. Trust me, people then wouldn't have complained as much. Call me a loser, but I'm expect some interiors to come with DLC's.

The main problems from my PERSPECTIVE are that there are no heists in free roam, that alone would have been f*cking AWESOME. Then there's the fact that you can't buy apartments although it is not necessary so there's a good excuse for that, we still have properties. And lastly, i'd say that the plane physics are absolutely atrocious. And you can't fly them in online too, shame. You can only drive stunt planes and helicopters and certain planes in certain missions such as the titan in the mission "The titan job".

yep. most everything else that could be added would cause something currently in the game to be worse or removed, and then people would complain about that.

I'm not actually too bothered about this, there's still a lot to do. Having an interior to an airport would be really cool though.

Interiors? Hardly. I doubt very much this game was designed with intent for people to stand around in their virtual apartments looking out the windows...

No. That's only one of the many things missing. This game is missing so much that I'm not typing it all again. It's a stripped GTA with a couple bells and whistles.

The game's major problem is the lack of features that previous GTAs had. A lot of them like car boosting, gang wars, drug wars are a part of online but that's no excuse for them not to be present in SP

No, we don't agree. You guys are complaining over nothing as usual.

WTF do we need more interiors for? Waste of time. Interiors aren't going to make the game any better.

It doesn't matter what Rockstar does, you guys will always find something to bitch and complain about.
