Underwater is surprisingly eerie

Just purchased the Sonar Collections Dock which gives you your own submarine and it's so eerie going underwater in the dark. I wonder if there are scary easter eggs somewhere

GRINCH ASS BITCH

I haven't even done that yet, just a particular mission where you have to use the sub, and it is eerie. The deeper you go, the darker it gets, and it just feels like something is lurking out there. R* did a great job on that.

Go diving around north of Mount Chiliad, East of Paleto Bay, Go on, I dare you. I won't spoil what you find down there, but its pretty shocking!

Challenge accepted. Is it an easter egg of some sort?

I agree with this and thats not a bad thing! Actually to be honest with you i'm kind of scared to go down there when i'm playing at night, closed in my room (which by itself kind of looks like an attic) with only a monitor as a light source! LOL

I don't know, I'm pretty much pumped for anything.

I got in a knife fight with a shark recently. Eerie as hell, but damn. A good way to tackle the eerines? Dive right in. Don't even wait. Just go right in, and deal with it.

Would have been cool to have a seamonster lurking in the depths but it doesn't seem to be implemented as someone would have discovered it by now

has anyone run into any sharks yet? i think i saw one pass me earlier.

considering you can now melee in the water, i want to knife fight a shark... with trevor of course.

edit: sideburnguru beat me to it.

Can definitely confirm. One of the first things I did in the game was fist fight one. That didn't work so well.

Recently, about 70 percent into the story? Took my Mullet, fully bearded Trevor into the deep end of the ocean with a jet-ski. Got out, swam under. Waited until the shark started to circle, and swim by you. It was about the second time he swam by me, swung my knife. Cut the bastard a few times, he started to sink down. His buddies were starting to come around, so I got on my jet ski, laughed, and took off.

It says ''sea monster>S<'' (sea MONSTERS, 2 or 3) but not really confirmed

Maybe not. How many people have seen bears? Could be in

I honestly hate going under water, especially when you get to certain depths and start hearing like roaring and stuff... Probably just the pressure but I always expect a huge Octopus to attack or something.

Yes going under water is eerie, but i find it more frustrating than anything. i did the mission where you first drive the submarine and i just found that the water was too murky to see much, and i kept hitting little mounds of land because i couldnt see them until it was too late. its like driving in the fog, not very fun at all.

Although this all took place in the waters around the port, so maybe the water is very murky there due to pollution? i havnt been in any other waters so maybe theyre much clearer. Can someone confirm or deny?

I found it very cloudy too, but I think that's part of the mission.

Can't wait to find or own a sub so I can really open her sea legs.

A while back IGN wrote in an article that there is a twelve story factory somewhere under water. I can imagine that it is dark and scary.

Can you buy the dock with any of the 3 characters or just Trevor?

At first, we thought that it was reserved for Michael, but I've bought it with Trevor. I don't know if Franklin can have it as well.

The underwater is very well captured. The only thing I missed while scuba diving was the silence. People who scuba certainly know that feel.

I don't understand. A massive underwater building? Do you have a link to the article?

Yes, a pretty damn big easter egg. Its on another thread on these forums, but I recommend you discover it for yourself!
