IIIiAMAZEIII Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 When i start up my GTA5 my console freezes at an instant. I had no problems before and already played 2 days without any problems. Even today i played for like 2 hours and had no problems but when i started the game like an hour ago i couldnt get past the starting screen (kept restarting the rockstar clip after trying to load the story mode) and after that my console just started freezing before it even started loading the story mode. I have the exact same problem and it also JUST started.. played 3 days before just fine, also played few hours just now with a friend and suddenly this. At first it indeed keeps re-looping the rockstar logo and loading the story... but now it just freezes after the rockstar logo.. everythime, all the time. I tried deleting all the installed data, re-installing it.. no luck So then checked my disc, and to my disbelief there is a huge circular scratch all over it... I didn't even move my console.. but I guess that is the problem now I tried installing the play disc on a USB drive but it couldn't caus the disc was unreadable.. I tried cleaning the disc (wax trick) but just made it worse probably so.. is your disc scratched to?
