MarkGTAV
I never invested in the stock market whilst doing the assassination missions and now, having completed the game, I am paying the price. There is NO efficient way of making money on GTA V once you have completed all the missions. In order to buy all the properties and some cars you need hundreds of millions. The window of opportunity that will make or brake your save is very small. You need to invest ALL your money in the appropriate firms when completing the assassination missions. This is the only achievable way of making a lot of money. I ruined my save because I never took advantage of this short window and now I have to go back to the start. It's ridiculous how heavily your bank balance relies on the assassination missions and how you are left with no way of turning a profit at the end of the game. KennethMBB
Kill 100,000,000 strippers and that will pay for the majority of the items in-game. Glad I could help. SchwartzJesuz

xinferio
Maybe you should hand a CV in at Burger Shot, I hear they're letting people in. Oh wait
igrvks
I agree. Given how the heists were emphasized in the marketing campaign I was expecting that after the story I would be able to do more of them. Although I was expecting on lot of things that were implied but were not in the final product. I also started a new story mode today just to save the assassination mission for until I complete the story. Until then no properties, or bought cars for me. It seems to be a shift away from other GTAs, which seemed to reward you more often, Considering that most of the properties will never return a profit, I wonder if it's even worth it. There's the other theater which is $30,000,000, but I don't know the payout.

MarkGTAV
Gramity, on this forum recently posted some useful stats showing the amount of weeks (in game) it takes for your properties to breakeven - http://gtaforums.com/topic/598150-spoilers-breakdown-of-properties-including-bang-for-your-buck/. Translating these figures into real life hours is scary, go ahead and do it for yourself and see. Using Pitchers (middle of the range) as an example it will take you around 300 real life hours (not including the 6 hour jump when you save) to make back your original investment. That is just stupid. Properties don't really offer any benefits other than weekly revenue but when you actually look into the figures they do not seem worthwhile. Once all missions are done the LCN market will not make you the kind of money needed. Most stocks fluctuate minimally and are practically a gamble. All this chat about blowing up rival trucks etc to influence the market is crap. There is no evidence to support this. It stands. The assassination missions are the only way to really make money through the stock market. It's sad.
SantosAssassin
I only did 2 assassination missions with Franklin and the last one was killing the jurors. Is there any more after that?

Good news: yes, 3 more Bad news: That missions apparently wields one of the biggest profits so if you didn't invest you've missed out
