5.1 DD but NO center channel use?

Hi, Im on xbox 360, with GTA5 -

 

I have a denon receiver and 5.1 surround speaker setup, the game shows Dolby Digital on the receiver, and sounds great, however NOTHING comes out of the center channel (center speaker). Ive tried messing with GTA5->Settings->Audio , still no audio from the center channel

 

All other game like halo, movies ect on my 360 show Dolby digital on my receiver as well and DO use the center channel extensively.

 

I actually now set my receive to "Matrix" (which is a DSP sound processing mode mainly for non Dolby digital sources), and it sounds much much better (as it uses the center channel but its not true, un touched Dolby digital)

 

 

Can anyone else confirm this as well? - confirm that their receive shows Dolby Digital when playing GTA 5 yet NO sound comes out of the center speaker (center channel).

confirms with the same problem, center speaker doesnt work only when radio is playing, dialog and sfx do come out of my center speaker
