HotSweatyThighs
Not sure if this is the right section or not but here it goes... I've recently been having the same problem over and over again, when ever I go to play the game I get singed out of xbox live. I can do everything that xbox live allows you to do but as soon as I go onto GTA 5 in the loading screens my xbox live cuts out. Has anyone else encountered this problem ? Thanks in advance HotSweatyThighs.
SpyderDan
I have this problem as well, and I have seen at least a couple of other threads about this same subject, without replies. I have a gold Xbox Live account, and I get signed out when starting the game as well. Any attempt to sign in while the game is running (either through hitting the Xbox button, or hitting "A" at the Online settings to sign in) fails. I can sign in just fine from the dashboard after leaving the game, but will get signed out again immediately upon starting the game again. I filed a ticket at Rockstar Support (#978917) http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/requests/978917
s1nn3r81
i started having this problem on wednesday evening and i just assumed it was because so many people were using xbox live at the same time to chat with friends about this amazing new game, continued playing offline all day thursday and then last night when i went to watch a movie on my external hard drive i could'nt get signed in,then this morning i setup another xbox live account against my better judgement as this would cost me all my gamerpoints and obviously all my in game progress from all my games, and apparently "this account cannot sign in on this console.download again to solve this issue" i'm not saying this is directly a r* related issue, but it seems a bit odd this has only occured since disk 1 was installed. love the game, but if all these issues are related to the game i feel a bit pi**ed that i've just paid £60 to basically beta test what should be (given the delays and massive budget)a flawless release. i'll update this tomorrow when i'm off work and have time to try a few things
SpyderDan
Solution from Rockstar support, worked for me: "There may be an issue with your 360 Profile. Let's try deleting and re-downloading your 360 account in attempt to resolve this issue. To do this... Go to your Dashboard. Go to System Settings. Go to Storage. Choose your HDD . Go to Gamer Profiles. Find your profile, press X, and choose to delete the profile. 7. *Important Choose delete only profile, not delete profile and all files. Bring up your guide menu with the Xbox button. Choose sign-in. Choose download profile. Use the e-mail address and password associated with your 360 account. You should now have deleted and re-added your 360 profile without harming any of the files saved to the profile."
nowprinting1
Anyone else still having this problem? I am. I tried redownloading my profile a few times and I still have the same problem. I can play for about ten minutes before I lose XBL connection. I've played other games and it really is only when I play GTA V. I don't get it, this is really frustrating.
