Nobody likes to be constantly told the same two things over and over and over and over from someone who doesn't have first hand experience with the game. Yeah. We f*cking get it. You don't like the amount of time damage takes to incur or the driving physics because you are hardcore. We get that. You > 99% of the forum.

It doesn't matter if he doesn't have the game; he's watched 15 mins of gameplay recorded on a toaster.

 

My sources, like I said, are hours of HD gameplay, reviews, interviews, etc... You could ask me anything about the game, I would know it.

The car damage in SA is better than IV and V.... Nothing to do with handling or driving..... You had to be really good at driving if you didnt want your car smashed after 2 or 3 crashes in SA... Now you can just ram your car far too much without giving a crap about damage... I dont really mind either way but I just call it like I see it.

I really don't mind the damage when I have a little crash, I don't want my car to be wrecked. I don't like how when you hit somebody's car (sometimes lightly) they die.

Come back once you drove over the runway and got hit/driven over by a taking off 747. My car was a wreck and I was surprised that I survived that crash (the whole vehicle was deformed to the point that it was impossible to identify the vehicle model).

As for the physics of crashing,it is very well done. Cars have more internl issues happen with them through crashing, like a gas leak from a major accident, or an alignment issue from having a pedestrian's body getting wedged into the wheel well. Both happened to me in game, which never happened in the 5 years of IV. I know the gas leak was a new feature, but the body wedging into my wheel well was straight up physics at its best. f*cked my alignment hard and made Trevors truck pull to the left.

There are videos of the entire game. Just go on YouTube and put "gta v walkthrough". Tons of videos.

 

I'm criticing things that you don't need to experience yourself to know them, like physics. It's all about law of physics and compare it to GTA IV or the reality. The only difference between a video and myself playing is that I'm not taking control of the character, so what? It's just pushing buttons around and I already played all GTA's to date, except GTA V, so it's the same with different variables.

I have to play the game to discuss the physics? Do you remember that it's a VIDEO-GAME. That means, that I can look at it, I can go through it all, if I don't play it myself it doesnt matter at all to discuss general aspects.

 

For example, this game:

 

Do I have to play it to know that it's in 2D, that the physics are pretty basic, that there are enough levels, that it's a platform game, etc?
