kspence92 Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I love this game but i dont get how people think the damage is fine. Surely causing more damage is more fun ? How is crashing a fire engine into a hatchback and only taking a wheel and bumper off "fun" ? In IV you could spend hours using large vehicles to destroy smaller ones and cause chaos now i find my self actually avoiding crashes since they are no longer fun. I know the damage is still there but it takes forever to cause huge amounts of damage. Put simply, crashing used to fun. Now its something to be avoided. Unless you drive like a old granny you will cause severe damage to your vehicle and others. And even if you do drive like a old granny, scratching the paint, breaking a headlight, shattering windows will happen frequently (unless armored), hell if you hit something in the wrong angle the axle might snap, or the fender may bend into the wheels so it locks up. The damage system is far superior to gta IV. I love the damage system, its especially great on helicopters, if you manage to damage your engine it will keep having trouble until it eventually comes to a stop and you have to make a emergency landing or bail out. I think it's clear that I'm not a troll, I'm just here discussing the game. Some people can't stand the criticism, I don't know why.
